I remember getting chicklets as a kid. Put a coin in the gumball machine and out comes a handful of colorful square bubble gum! So exciting as a kid. I haven't had them in years and figured I would give them a try.As stated, these are mini chicklets, not the larger squares I remember. They come in a variety of bright colors, and each color has a slightly different flavor. You will need at least 6 to 8 of these to equal one regular size piece of bubble gum. The flavor will last maybe 10 minutes tops, and the gum is very hard to chew after just a few minutes, a good workout for the jaw! Blows decent bubbles that aren't too sticky or messy. These look really cute in a mason jar on the counter, and the grand kids like to get a small handful as a special treat when they come over. If you keep your expectations low and are getting these primarily as a novelty, I think they're not a bad buy. The large 2 lb. package is going to last a long time. Packaged in the USA, but no mention of where they are made...

Didn’t know they were mini’s until I got them, doesn’t work in my machine, too small

It lacks the chewiness that all gum is supposed to have at the center. After you biting thru the hard exterior you find the interior is just as uninviting. Few seconds later your jaw is already tiring from the unfriendly motion of chewing this candy. Then you check amazon to realize there is no option to return it.

Selected as a refill for a gumball machine, these small square 3/8 inch by 1/8 inch thick mini-chiclet gum are a good change from the standard round gumballs. The colors are vivid and they are as sweet as expected but also expected—the flavor does not last long. Allergens include soy and the gum is manufactured on shared equipment with peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, sesame seed, egg and wheat.This 5 pound bulk bag of gum is re-sealable and it has a nice long best by date which at the time of this review in May 2022 is 19 months in the future but dates will vary. They also look colorful and festive packed in small cellophane bags for parties or as an inclusion in goodie bags. Excellent.

Bought this to make bubblegum icecream, but it has little to no flavor and gets harder than rocks and could chip a tooth!!

I'll have more than enough for 35 bags with a ton left over.The left overs, I'll put in large mason jars and snack on for several months.All of the pieces that I've tried so far are very fresh and delicious.This is an amazing value bag.

True to the "mini" name, these are slightly bigger than half of a regular chiclet. Each color technically has a unique flavor matching the color, though they all wind up tasting kindof similarly "fruity" once you get through the outer shell's flavor. The flavor is a blast from my childhood, and exactly what you'd expect from gumball-machine-style chiclet gum. Like all sugar-based, hard shell gums, the flavor doesn't last too long. Enjoy it for a few minutes, and then spit it out. And then try to brush your teeth :)The 2 pound bag arrived very fresh, with an expiration date over 1.5 years away. They'll be gone long before then though. The actual chiclets also arrived in great condition (at the end of May), with no damage or melting. These doesn't appear to be any broken bits of shell at the bottom of the bag, so the brand packaged them with care.Please note that "resinous glaze" is an ingredient, so if you are a strict vegan, these are probably not for you.
