Great Alternative to your run of the mill water bottles!
I've owned this product for about a month now and used it at least 10 times on various outings. It works great, very easy to fill and and tighten and doesn't leak... even when the "turn nozzle" on top is left in the open position. All my friends are wondering where I got it. First purchase was at REI but of course amazon has it for less (with free shipping on prime) and I will be buying atleast 1 more for some backpacking trips when I travel.I have brought it to the beach, golf outings and on a couple day hikes. Water doesn't taste like anything plastic or rubbery at all.The best part, is that when you are done with your water, you aren't left with a big plastic bottle just taking up space. Just roll it up and store and you are good to go.Cons. I personally wouldn't leave it in extreme heat such as a locked car. I feel like that would be pretty harsh on the rubber like material. Also, as it really is a water baggy... I wouldn't want to crush it or put anything heavy on top of it... but honestly that goes with anything you would want to take care of.

A really terrific hiking, backpacking, throw-in-your gym bag water bottle
My husband got one of these 750 ml bottles and took it backpacking on our last trip. I felt my traditional hard bottle was just fine until I tried his. I came home and ordered one for myself. I used to consider a hard bottle banging against my leg or bouncing from my vest as just part of the backpacking experience, but this bottle almost disappears. I forget it's there, and because it can be clipped to the silicon loop on the bottom (as well as the big loop on the top), I can lift it to my mouth without unclipping it. If you must wash the inside with dish soap, be sure to rinse it thoroughly several times with very hot water to avoid any hint of soap taste. A brush and hot water is all I ever use now since having the soap taste experience. These are not our every day "bottle on the desk" bottles because they do not stand up, but if you wanted to keep them in a gym bag or purse, you're safe because they never leak; they have the best bite valve on the market. I also love that the valve cover is attached to the bottle so you can't lose it. If you snap the valve cover on the lid, the lid is safely attached as well, which prevents my "lid losing genes" to sabotage all efforts to not lose it. The lid can be detached however if you purposely remove it for cleaning or whatever, which I would never do.

It IS a lot softer and conforming making it more comfortable than a hard bottle
Bottle is as described. 1st time trying a soft type bottle and didn't know what to expect. My pouches that hold the bottle are much shorter than the bottle so once I've drunk some liquid out of the bottle it flops around. Unless Your holder is as tall as the bottle, it will crease and flop at the top of the holder. No liquid sloshing but now the whole bottle flops. I had to blow the bottle back up after each drink to resolve the issue during my run. It IS a lot softer and conforming making it more comfortable than a hard bottle. For the price, it's worth a try to see if You like it.

Good Bottle But It Will Benefit From A Slight Modification
The concept is a good one, particularly if space is a consideration, and the bottle in general seems to be made of good materials. However, I give it one star for how difficult it was (for me at least) to remove and also adequately tighten the cap. On a long hot run with sweaty hands or wet from filling the bottle, I found the knurled collar almost impossible to tighten enough to prevent leakage (the bottle WILL leak unless the top is very firmly tightened down) due to my hands slipping on the smooth adjusting collar.. It was very hard to get a good grip and at times I felt that I might actually tear the bottle. There was NO leakage noted while carrying the bottle full in an INOV 8 belt bag once the collar was tightened. We purchased this bottle to determine its suitability for a trans-Sierra run in September, but after just one use in the field it was clear that either we modify the bottle or find a substitute. Here is the modification that has been a vast improvement: using the awl on a Swiss Army knife (or any sharply pointed object) carefully scratch the hell out of the collar that you grip in order to tighten the closure. It looks pretty bad, but quite a few long, deep scratches on the plastic create a much rougher surface which enables you to get a much better grip on the maddeningly slippery and slightly conical surface (make the scratches parallel to the long axis of the bottle). I don't know if anyone else has experienced the same difficulty with tightening the bottle's closure - perhaps I am incredibly weak and never knew it until now - but original design of the collar, although it looks very neat and clean, suffers from being both conical and too smooth (in my opinion). Perhaps it will come to pass that the newer versions will have ridges like the cap on your toothpaste.

Super product. Great customer service.
First one had issues. Hector replaced it immediately. Super customer service.I already had one of these (had it for a few years). Wanted another as a back up. Great bite valve and it collapses to take up minimal space.THANKS HECTOR.

Nice Bottle
Works well. Like to take it skiing so if i fall it wouldn't hurt like falling on a nalgene. Water tastes SUPER plasticy, so i had to knock a star off the top.

The perfect water bottle
Love these things. I use them as a backup water source for high mountain backpack hunting. I clip them to my belt loops if i’m Stalking an animal. Super tough, super quiet and they DON’T leak. Great gift idea for your hunting family and friends.

nice idea, but flawed
ok-ish - doesnt really work with the side pockets on a backpack though, since when half full it folds over. The opening mechanism is not great either. I wouldnt buy this again.

Softflask Hydrapak
