NYC Sky Rise Lengthening Mascara Extreme Black (2-pack)

This product is fairly satisfactory! Considering how affordable it is, I'm giving it five stars. As of cons, I can't really think of any except that it starts to flake at the end of the day for me (which means it would've already stayed on and well for more than 8 hours), and some of the drug store mascara I used tend to be twice as expensive and not much better in terms of being unflaky. As of its lengthening efficacy, I will tell you this: on its package its marketing promise is lengthening the lashes by 60% and it does just that! I did get a little bit disappointed when I first tried this product on and noticed only moderate change in the length of my lashes, but after I found it said 60% on its package I felt pretty good about this buy. If you are like me whose natural lashes are on the shorter side, chances are that you aren't going to notice much longer lashes simply by using this product. Overall, I'm pretty happy about this buy.

This mascara was given to me by a friend and I was skeptical because it's so inexpensive. It stay in place, if separates my lashes and they look natural not clumpy at all! It's the best mascara I have ever used and I typically use Tom Ford, Lancôme or Dior. This one is awesome! It can't be found in stores but thanks to Amazon, I found it!

The product was dry may have been sitting on a shelf for a long time

I've used so many mascaras and this one is really great.1. Its really inexpensive2. Its super dark3. It lengthens very well4. It doesn't flake off after several hours (but it can smudge easily so be careful rubbing your eyes)5. The brush is great so that I can use it on the top and bottom lashes. Many companies have these weird curved brushes or brushes that are too big and make it impossible to use on the lower lashes.6. It doesn't clump7. It can be used to thicken the lashes. Just wait 1 minute for the first coat to dry then put 1 more coat on.

I purchased 2 and one seemed really dry...the other was okay.

Don't Like It At All . It Seems Like A Good Price But Its Not The Mascara Isn't Even Good . . .

I've had to shop around for mascaras ever since the name brands changed all their wands, basically rendering them useless, and changed mascara formulas to make sure we'd have to buy more and more often. Not quite sure why they'd think we don't "know" what's going on, but whatever the case, I picked up this little mascara at a discount store, just on a whim. I'm no longer willing to spend over ten bucks on a mascara that does absolutely nothing that its manufacturers claim it does. I have probably well over $100 right now in my make up case of worthless mascara/worthless wands as it is, about to be "filed".I'm surprised at how well NYC Sky lash performs. I have very long lashes, prone to sticking together, especially with the addition of clumpy mascara. I need a firm wand that actually separates the gazillion long and not-so-long lashes, and this mascara does just that. I gave it a rating of four rather than five because it really doesn't add all that much to length, but like everyone else has said, it's perfect for every day use. I will be spending the under five bucks on this mascara until such time when NYC, too, renders its wands worthless. Great product for now, and extra great price.
