I’ve tried several of these socks in the past.These are by far the best.I have poor circulation in my feet ,and the way these gel pads are situated they cool, and instantly bring down the swelling. The socks itself are soft ,and smooth on my feet.They also can be put in microwave and used to heat foot as well.I will recommend to friends who also have problems with their feet.

I have recently been diagnosed with foot arthritis and dystonia (random periodic foot/toe cramps). I wear these for about 20-30 minutes at night and my foot feels so refreshed in the morning. I was skeptical about this product at first, but I was willing to try anything to ease the pain. I'm so glad I did. The first time I used this, I only put the ice packs in the freezer. It's not terrible - but took me a couple times to remember which ice pack went where in the sock. But I'm a busy mom of two who works outside the home, and goes to school full time myself, and for convenience I've started putting the whole sock, ice packs and all, into the freezer when I'm done with it, and it's ready to slip right on the next night.I have not yet tried it for heat, so I'm unable to give it a fair review on that aspect.I have walked lightly on it, only putting pressure on my heel, and it seems to hold up well. I would not walk on it with full weight because I'm unsure if the bottom ice pack would get damaged from the pressure.In short, no complaints. So glad I bought this!

Perhaps one needs to use this more than once in order to evaluate it fairly. Froze the entire socks without first removing gel inserts. Will try that method next time.Result was that it was difficult to pull on frozen socks…but removing the gel packs before pulling on socks, then reinserting gel packs in the socks, helped.It is possible that the socks have helped the medically-induced neuropathy in both feet-but only TIME will tell!

It does bring down the heat in your feet. It is needing a front of ankle gel pad or a longer top toe to foot gel pad.

I have some pain in the metatarsal area and need something to ice my feet. I was worried that these would be too tight as I have pretty wide feet, but no problem, very comfortable. I like to wear them for about ten minutes. I have a deep freezer that gets colder than the freezer in the kitchen, and that seems to work pretty well as staying cold for 10 minutes.....almost too cold at first. Anyway, good product for the price.

These socks only stay cold for 15-20 minutes, if that long I keep them in the freezer for 8 to 10 hours, so they are solid when I take them out to use them. But after about 20 minutes they have virtually no coldness. I usually put them on at night, which is when my feet are the worst. When they are cold, they give me some relief, but not for long. Also they are not easy to walk-in.

I heard from friends that these cold therapy socks are great for painful, tired feet. They are amazing! I use them every night leaving them on my feet for an hour while relaxing with a good book or watching TV. I highly recommend them !
