In the Small, Small Pond

I work at a preschool as a teacher and we have theme weeks, and bought this book. The under 2 loved this book as well as the 2 years old, it has become one of the favorite books, the wording is short and thd colors are vivid. Great Purchase!

This book is so child friendly! Love the pictures! I also love the way it is written; you can read ,chant or sing it!

If there is a good story to be had here, it's hard to appreciate because the artwork is so bad. It's all dark colors and smudged together, so one can't easily distinguish for a child to understand what an object is. Wish I hadn't have purchased this.

I am a preschool teacher and this book is great. We can spend a whole week on this book. We create our own small pond bulletin board, there is just so much imagination and creation that can go along with this book. The children love to search for the frog on each page.

I really like this book and more importantly, granddaughter Eii, 1 yr, likes its bright colors. The pictures are interesting as are the simple words describing the activities of the animals in each scene....
