A5 Portable hole punch

Works well but you do have to press down hard from left to right (or vice versa) across the complete cutter until it's completely flat to engage the hole cutters for a nice clean 6-hole punch through your paper. I'm using 110g paper, so it's not exactly thin paper and it would likely be much easier with thinner paper stock.I like this item very much. However, I'm sure the plastic cutter parts will wear with use after a time, therefore I'm not certain how long I can expect this item to last. So far so good and I'm very happy with the nice clean cuts I'm achieving. I've used this punch a fair bit since I received it and it's still giving consistently clean cuts.I have read that some people are experiencing two ghost marks in their punched paper. I did also until I realized the ghosting was due to lining the paper incorrectly. I was placing the paper over 'two raised lines' and right up to the edge of the punch. However, the two raised lines are actually marker lines designed for lining your paper against to give the correct distance for your punched holes. If you lay your paper across these two raised markers, not only will you not punch your holes the correct distance from the edge of the paper, but you will have 'two unsightly indents' (ghosting) in your punched paper as well. Once I realised this, I had no more problems with ghosting and the holes were punched at the correct distance from the edge of the paper as well (result).I would recommend this item. It's much better than a metal punch I bought recently to do the job costing twice the price which I am returning because is far too difficult and frustrating to use. This is a much better and far easier to use punch.

Handy to have while travelling to punch items (eg loose sheets, leaflets, tickets, etc) and pop into your Filofax pocket. It has holes to keep it on the rings of the Filofax itself but if like me you prefer a sleek low profile binder this is a bit thick for that. Won’t punch multiple sheets but that’s not what it’s for. A wee bit pricey perhaps but it seems robust, it works well and slips into a small pencil case with my other journaling items so I think it’s worth it.

Quite possible filofax minis will end. With this punch, any paper can be used to make pages. I found electronic diaries too unreliable: residing on old pc,s and not upgradable. So I keep a little paper diary (since 1980)

It does what it should do quite well. Happy to own it. It is a tad on the cheap side, material wise. But seeing the price, it is OK.

Quite an expensive item considering it's a piece of folding plastic, when you can get metal punches for few quid (albeit 2 hole) so I think the excessive cost is because it's 'branded', and also no-one else seems to make these for organisers, so there's no competition.It's quite an inefficient method of punching too, as it only comfortably punches a single sheet at a time. You can do 2 or 3 sheets but then they get stuck on the punch and you have to virtually rip them off the plastic.Also, it states you can carry the punch around, as it fits on the rings in the organiser, but I have found that the raised punch hole makers are damaging to the pages next to it, or the inside of the filofax cover, if placed at the back/front.Only had this a few weeks but have used it almost every day, and do I wish there was an easier way to get pages into my Filofax.

I purchased this item to enable me to punch holes in sheets of paper for my Filofax. I was not worried if I could only punch one sheet of paper at a time but the critical thing was the spacing of the holes.The picture with this product indicates a gap between 2 sets of 3 holes - when the product arrived this gap was not there and all 6 holes were evenly spaced making it useless for punching holes for a Filofax.In addition to not punching holes in a way that allows me to put anything in my Filofax there is an additional set of holes on the back that, when punching, results in an extra 2 holes on the left hand side of the supposed 6 holes.All in all a terrible product that is a waste of time - and to be charged £4.48 for delivery for something that would not exceed £1.50 for all postage and packaging costs is nothing short of a disgrace.Steer clear and do not be drawn in by a picture!

Nice, lightweight hole punch that fits on my rings. Currently using a kikki.k A5 planner and it fits perfect. Nice colour and looks smart. Performance wise, it gets the job done, but I’d say you could only really do a couple sheets at a time and might struggle with a thick card.

Read some bad reviews on this. A lot of bad reviews but I just thought these were people not reading the product information at all as well as understanding the purpose of the product. It's a portable one, handy for sticking in things on the go. If you were out and about you wouldn't be taking your entire office and hole punching masses of paper work. Use your head and get a real hole puncher for that.I just wanted this to stick in the odd thing here and there. It works perfectly. It has these little guides to help you place the paper right and you are guaranteed to have a perfectly punched piece of paper that fits nicely into your filofax a5. If you like things done well and neatly, this is a great product for you.
