Lakeland Boiled Egg Topper (Cuts The Top Off Boiled Eggs Neatly!)

Husband was getting a bit fed up of trying to cut the tops off duck eggs but the usual cutter type he tends to use just not strong enough. Did searches for a device that would take duck eggs as well as chicken eggs. Saw this one and it mentioned duck eggs. The one thing I will say is that it’s brilliant gadget but a bit on the pricey side that’s the only negative thing about it.Easy to use husband says and yes it actually works as it should do. The top of the duck egg and yes duck eggs have a lot harder shell is cut neatly across and comes off in one go. The membrane though still needs a knife to just cut it away but no more fingers with egg shell in them. Each time it’s been used and quite a lot over the Christmas break it’s worked just as it should do and he thinks it a brilliant gadget.

Waited over a month to receive this item. Follow the instruction, tried 3 eggs didn't work. not easy to use.

the idea is good but turns out it's simpler to use a knife or a spoon!

As I am a avid boiled egg eater and love gadgets, I couldn't ask for anything better. My first attempt smashed my egg to bits, but I soon got the hang of it. Love it.

Took a few goes to get it right, but Hey! now I love it.Only gave it four stars because you do have to get use to how much pressure the plunger needs.

Requires pressure to hold against powerful spring, can crush egg when released. Idea good but practically not easy to use.

At last I can get the top off my eggs without losing half of it

This is a great little device, no more destroying the egg with a knife and filling the inside with shell!
