Microsoft Office 2010 Starter

Having bought this as I don't need full office suit didn't realise the applications you do get are crippled and driven by adware so losing valuable display area to a advert pane. As the product description did not mention this I didn't have cause to check out on Microsoft what the differences were, so my advise is to check from Microsoft help on Office Starter to see if it meets your needs as many useful features are disabled. It is also frustrating to anyone who is familiar with the full versions to not be able to find these features or find the supported features are not in exactly the same places.

The Disc arrived two days late but that was entirely due to the Spanish Post Office screwing up. It was relatively easy to instal and the help I did need was supplied promptly and effectively on the phone by a very helpful customer service guy. In less than half an hour from opening the package the product was installed and working. I'll be telling all my friends with older Micosoft Office that a cost effective alternative is so available.

Word 2010 disc in good order but was 32 bit. I needed 64 bit. It would have helped if this had been indicated in the amazon advert.

The software downloaded it seemed, but would not open. The supplier gave me a no-quibble, full refund, so in that regard, well done.

Check the Windows 10 you have installed. If 64bit this is not suitable. I wasted a lot of time trying to install this.
