We have a large lot 5 acres. My hope was to use his as a way to keep the dog close to the house but have freedom to roam a bit. I tried to test the collar (off the dog) and walked the perimeter; it was very inconsistent. It seemed random, regardless of setting, and varied more than 30-50 feet with the same setting. This was the fence mode I also tried the training mode. The first major issue is while putting the collar on the dog it zapped her. So now the dog has trust issue any time I put any collar on her. I consider this a bad design flaw. Once on the dog the beep, vibrate, zap progression seems to work ok and why I gave them one star. If you are hoping this is a good alternative option for an inviable fence don't be fooled.

My pooch had a bad habit of getting out of our fence and running into the busy road. Now, thankfully he doesn’t do that anymore. The system is great and I have no complaints. Highly recommend

The best part about this device is the fence mode. Super easy to train my puppy dawg to stay in our yard.

This would shock my dog 6 feet from the receiver, and then going the other direction would allow her to go 40 feet one time and 10 foot the next. Extremely inconsistent!!DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

This thing was awfulStraight out of the box I hit power and it shocks meIt never really charged completelyI did get some charge and I decided to try itI put it on my dog on fence mode out of nowhere it starts shocking my dog, I powered it off and it was still shocking her! It scared and hurt her!Would never recommend this to anyone 😕

1) I could not get the consistent results when setting the range. The same setting would go off at 40 feet, then at 50 feet, then at 30 feet. That would really mess up a dog who could not be certain what the boundary was because it varied so much.2) I could not get the receiver unit to turn off. It kept beeping non-stop no matter what I did.

This is a good unit for a larger area. If you have a lot of land and want your dogs to be free roaming without worrying this is the unit for you. Love that it comes with a Y usb chafer so you can change both units at same time.

Product arrived within 2 days of ordering it. Seems easy to set us and good quality for the price!
