Great portable, good software bundle
For the price, a very good deal. the Sampletank SE software on its own costs more than the keyboard (this is mainly why I bought it), and if you like the electronica/techno soundsets also included (worth £30 each), it's even more of a good deal. Sampletank SE comes with 6.5GB of instruments, guitars, pianos, etc which are on the whole worth having in your library (one day you will need that vibraphone)The keyboard itself is great if you need a small portable midi keyboard and don't mind the mini keys. 37 keys is enough for most home recording uses or portable recording , but you are not going to be playing a piano concerto on this. If you do need a portable keyboard, this is nice and light and surprisingly strong-feeling for something made entirely of plastic.( If you need lighter or smaller IK Multimedia also do a smaller model that has fewer keys and doesn't have the pitch bend and modulation wheels.)It also has a socket for an expression pedal (not included) which you can use as a volume pedal, or using Midi you can usually assign it to some other function (filter cut-off, for example).I'm not sure about the micro-usb socket and how resilient that would be if you were taking this everywhere in your backpack, but it seems ok so far.

Great little MIDI keyboard !
I purchased this little MIDI keyboard in order to be able to use it with my 3rd generation iPad and it does its job brilliantly. The construction is very good and above all the feedback from the white and black keys is excellent. Just enough movement to transmit you a great playing feel. The installation is... none! You just have to connect it to your tablet or laptop or desktop and you are good to go. It's as simple as that. The top rotary knobs and rubber buttons also give you very good feedback. So overall a great mini keyboard that you can take with you wherever you go. Ah! Last but not least: it drives it's power from the iPad without draining the battery at all. Excellent !

Fantastic value at this price
I bought this as a portable practice keyboard for when travelling. It totally fits the bill. The quality is actually pretty good and it comes with the cables to connect. I use it with iPad, iPhone and iMac, all work seamlessly. The keys are full size with decent feel. The keyboard recognises the pressure you use. It's powered by the interface cable so no need for a power plug.In terms of features it's all pretty much there. Bear in mind this isn't a fully featured keyboard however it has everything you need to play with some nice features.. There's also a pedal socket.I can't vouch for their software as I just use Garageband - again, it worked immediately with on config required.I was keen to buy a travel case as well. Unfortunately they are overpriced in comparison.Recommended.

Great armchair keyboard - works great with Cubase on Win 7 64 bit.
Only just got it - plugged it in to Win 7 - no drivers to load - seen immediately and works perfectly with Cubase and Steinberg Grand 3 - incredible low latency right out of the box. Great feel to the keyboard and perfect size for two hands in an armchair - perhaps I will improve on my keyboard skills now.My Akai LPK25 will now be pushed into the closet - what a waste of time that device was - hit a key and then it would decide to play a note - crap really, plus it doesn't seem to send midi events to Steinberg Grand 3 even though you can select it, unless you run it within Cubase. The latency makes it unusable. Can't wait to get using the IK keyboard - superb and really fast delivery - arrived six days before it was due to arrive.

not bad
The first time I bought it, plugged it in and it worked perfectly fine with fruity loops. the next day wouldn't turn on anymore, so i replaced it with a new one. worked perfectly fine for two months now until it fell on it's side from my bed, so from about a metre, and didn't even crash on the floor, and it stopped working. It's nice to play with, the keys feel nice, can play easily if you have smaller hands, there are a few nice options like the sensitive keys, so it responds perfectly to how you are playing. The only problem i found was that the plug where you connect the wire seems to be sensitive, so make sure it doesn't fall on that side and don't force the wire in, that part broke twice for me. iRig Keys Mini Keyboard Controller for iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad/Mac/PC

Perfect size and feel for table top keyboard
Although I have a very nice keyboard I like having a small table top keyboard on my desktop close to my DAW.I tried a bunch of small keyboards and this is the one I like best for the money. It's the perfect size so you can actually play it like a larger keyboard and it has a nice feel to the keyboard. It's not a piano hammer action but rather a synth type feel. It does not click and clack like a lot of small keyboards. It feels like a quality instrument that solid and well made. I don't need a lot of buttons, pads and lights so this is perfect for me.I am replacing a previous iRig Keys that was similar that they discontinued. It developed a weird problem after 3 years of use where is would output erroneous MIDI data which had something to do with the pitch bend wheel or tuning. It actually de-tuned all my tracks and I never figured out how to solve it. Needless to say that went in the garbage (not worth fixing) and now I have the newer model which I hope will last a while and not have the same problem down the road. For now I love it and it works great!

Great little midi board
This keyboard is excellent both in build quality and value. It's solidly built, and it won't break the bank. It works great, and I can take it along wherever I go.

So much fun for so little money!
I absolutely love this little controller. It is ideal for playing iPhone apps such as the Minimoog Model D, or MiniSynth II, on which the on-sceeen keyboard is (of necessity) extremely small. The controller itself has almost zero latency. The keys are physically light, so you can’t really hammer away at them - but the playability and responsiveness are very good for a keyboard this inexpensive. However, please note that if you use AirPods Pro, or indeed any other type of Bluetooth audio device, there will be about 144ms latency (which is very noticeable). This is an unavoidable Bluetooth Audio issue and is nothing at all to do with the iRig device itself. I’m just mentioning it as general a heads-up.The other heads-up is that you can’t plug in wired earbuds while you have this device plugged into your phone. You’d have to buy a splitter in order to do that. Again, this is nothing to do with this specific keyboard. It’s just that the newer iPhones only have the one lightning port - and that’s the port that this keyboard plugs into. Also beware that if you have one of the newer MacBooks that don’t have a USB port, you’ll also need to buy a separate cord or adapter. Again, that’s not the fault of this keyboard; it’s because Apple eliminated USB ports from their newer laptops. In summary: if you want a fun, inexpensive keyboard (ie controller) for playing the keyboard, drum and synth apps you have on your phone and iPad through their own built-in speakers: this is a great buy and I highly recommend it.
