Winter exercise
I need to keep my joints flexible during the winter month as I don’t walk as much as summer months because of my arthritis.I didn’t want something that takes up space,so this is a good little machine, perfect for my needs. I reluctantly bought it and was putting off putting it together, there are no instructions, so you have to use the old common sense. Surprisingly it does the job, wondering why I didn’t make use out of earlier!

Idea after a knee operation
Bought to exercise my wife’s knee after having a knee replacement. Excellent as not necessary to have a great deal of resistance, just good for movement. Good value for the money. Would recommend

Moves alot
Good value but very lightweight and flimsy. The rubber feet keep coming off and while I am peddling it. It moves so I have to wedge it up against something solid.

Great for the price
Bought for my elderly in-laws. Both small and light in stature. Its not heavy for them to move around and the thin peddles are suitable for their feet.Easy to assemble. Slightly uneven on the floor so taped a small square of padding to the off leg and that sorted it.Perfect for them.Bought an epileptical one for my dad as he is tall and heavy with big feet and this would be useless for him.

Like it. Good for the price if it's used correctly.
For the price, this is excellent. I bought this for my mother, who is 94 and doesn't move around as much as she would like or is able to. It enables her to get some much needed movement to her legs and keeps her joints mobile. I'd considered making one but found this and realised I couldn't better it.It's easy to put together, and very stable on the floor. Mum thinks it's great, and has noticed a difference in her legs after just a week.I've seen in some reviews that people found in squeaked. I think if you buy this as a resistive exerciser, and by that I mean you are trying to work up a sweat, then you need to look for something else. The bearing and the resistance mechanism are just not up it. I've set the resistance on mine to just stop the freewheeling which would make it difficult and uncomfortable to use. I believe movement of the legs is the key here, not the effort you put in.Tips.1 When putting the legs in on first assembly, leave them a little loose for the moment. Now turn it over and press it down on the floor so that it finds it's own level, THEN tighten up the screws.2 I also took the straps off as we found she didn't need them. This requires a little cut to strap at the crank side of the pedal, but won't stop them being used again if you later decide you need them.3 Even though it doesn't say you can do this (and if it says DON'T, I didn't notice), I assembled the rotor 'upside down', so that it is on the underside of the frame. It still works, just lower down. Mum found it easier to use, and easier to get onto. It also fitted under her armchair when assembled this way, and doesn't walk across the floor when being used.
