Clears Pool
As we tried opening our pool this year rotating between two other filters cleaning them every day… we just couldn’t get the pool clean. I decided to order this and within 3 days, our pool was clear finally! It didn’t happen in 24 hours like it’s packaging states but our pool was green and you couldn’t see the bottom. We cleaned it each evening and on day 3 it was clear!

Overly tight and did not filter correctly
The media could not be loaded. As several buyers stated, this filter is a tight fit. (too tight) We usually replace this filter once a year, so I figured I could live with not being able to get it back off. When vacuuming the pool, the stuff vacuumed up was coming back out of the jets. It was a nightmare getting the filter back off. The first thing I noticed is the pleats were not consistent, and you could push on the filter and it collapsed like an accordion. See the video and pictures. I re-installed the old filter, and you can see in the comparison pictures, the old filter is rigid and sturdy. I had to make a plywood jig to get the filter off. Almost ruined the inter part that slides into the cartridge.

Works but these are just so expensive. Need to look for alternative brands.

Defect not identified until I started using it.
I ordered this filter on 21 June and installed it mid-September because I broke my leg and was laid up until September. I found after starting the system the pressure dropped to 2PSI and water flow was poor. I pulled the filter to clean it and found that the top seal was torn. It was OK when I installed it. This is a defect that cost me $100. The Warranty from Amazon is only 30 days. If Pletco will not replace it, beware.

Worst
After only 4 months the bands have begun disintegrating and separating from the filter. Worst filter cartridge I have purchased on this website. Buyer beware.
