Women Of The World Acoustic

I would like to start with the good points of this CD which is its excellent recording and the reason why I have given it two stars. However, the majority of the songs are those which you would never listen to, a second time. There are a couple of good songs though which you might listen again but overall this is one big disappointment.This CD came highly recommended but I would urge every person who considers purchasing this CD to think again. My recommendation would be to stay clear of this CD!

Bought this in a little craft shop when in South Africa. It stopped me in my tracks and I had to buy it. That doesn't happen to me very often. It became the theme of our trip. Absolutely lovely varied music. So much talent out there.

I discovered this in Youtube on a link from Wailing Jennys  40 Days  (brilliant CD, also with one song on this CD).I like the variety of music. There is also an attractive multi-language booklet with info. about the songs and singers. But rather than trust me, I suggest you listen to a couple of tracks yourself before buying. It would have been nice to have the lyrics but maybe they are available elsewhere.I purchased on Amazon through Nagiry, who were quick, well-priced, with great customer service.
