Tablet with HDMI input. Great as video monitor on prosumer video camera.
I love this tablet. It is the only tablet that I have found that has HDMI input. I bought 2 of these and use them to monitor my video camera output while video recording dance shows. The colors are a little off (more red), but I can check the coloring on the camera LCD to be sure the white balance is set correctly. The timing of the video is pretty close to real time. It works great for my application. I have used it once so far for a 2 hour show. The battery died after the first hour, I was able to plug it into a battery power pack which was strapped to my tripod. It has a standard micro USB port for power so that is great. I used to use a 9" inch portable TV which had a battery for portability. The battery life has been decreasing over time and I cannot find a replacement. This is why I have been hunting for a tablet with HDMI input. This is the only one I have found and it is a very reasonable price. Very happy with my purchase.PROS:HDMI Input Port - great for displaying video from a video cameraCan be used as a normal tabletMicro USB port for powerVery reasonable priceCONS:Limited battery life - lasted one hourColors are off but close enough for me.Overall, I love this tablet for my video business.Update 12/12/19:I have been using 2 of these tablets for over 2 1/2 years for my video business and they still work great.

Screen is clear and responsive. Inputs work. Currently no way to root and there is a custom boot loader in place which blocks your ability to issue fastboot commands so customization is limited.Update: Was given 4 stars originally. Dropped to 2 stars as no matter what you use to charge the tablet, it will discharge the battery and eventually turn off if the screen is left on, even at half brightness.

...but the best it could do was vibrate
I spent a long time looking for a tablet with an HDMI input. I ordered this. I charged it for several hours, tried to power it on, but the best it could do was vibrate. I charged it more, until the LED was green, and then...the best it could do was vibrate. I returned it, and went back to looking for something similar. It seems to have so much promise. Should I reorder one and hope for the best?

Not very good
Long time to charge the battery. To little run time. No updates for this old of a android system. Hdmi will not work for my application. To old of technology.

Update: bought a new quality HDMI cable to replace the one that came with the tablet. Same results.Junk. Tried the HDMI input with a Raspberry Pi 3, Le Potato SBC, Nintendo Switch, and 2015 MacBook pro. Best I got was a skewed display from the Le Potato. Don't buy this.Too good to be true.
