Best controller for driving games ever
I have over a dozen higher end controllers from the best manufacturers. I play mainly racing sims. I have a good quality racing wheel and pedals but cannot use them do to ill health, so hand held controllers are a must for me. The new Thrustmaster mini wheel attachment to this controller is a real game changer. With minimal effort is is easy to control a car in a more precise and realistic feeling way than any controller I have ever had. No, this is not a gimmick. It feels so natural to steer and gives a similar sensation to an actual steering wheel by only using the edge of your thumb.I urge all driving game players who have tried everything but are still not satisfied to try this. I think all hand held racing controllers will be like this within a couple of years.

Most realistic racing controller I’ve used!
If you love racing games like me and you can’t have a racing wheel for space constraints then this is a really fun alternative. I tend to have my finger to the right side of the wheel when turning right and move it quickly to the left when turning left. Once you get your rhythm and technique it soon becomes second nature. Highly recommend for any sim racing fan.

Best but also the worst
Best controller i have ever used as far as precision but i have to give it a 1 star review purely due to this being my 3rd one and within days the thumbsticks started to strafe. Its the worst build quality i have ever seen for thumbsticks breaking which is a real shame as its the best precision i have seen in a thumbstick. I had to send 1 back then got another 1 then got the forza edition. Out the 2 controllers 3 of the thumbsticks strafe. If they improved the build so the thumbsticks dont strafe within a few days of using and made the controller not break easy then id say 5 star but until they fix these issues its a 1 star from me purely because after days of purchasing the thumbsticks will strafe

Expensive Gimmick
This is a very expensive "pro" level controller for your Xbox Series X/S console and is completely marketed for those high tier level players of the game Forza Horizon 5. This is a modular controller which means the thumb sticks and dpad are module based which can be removed, repositioned and even exchanged out for other modules, this is a 2023 version of the ESWAP controller first released by Thrustmaster in 2022, now rebranded especially with the colours and style of the Forza Horizon 5 racing game. Not only does this cosmetically match the aesthetic of the game, but it has a special brand new and unique control module designed for this racing game...a steering wheel module. This controller is designed to really get the precision you would want from a controller in a racing game, it is wired to reduce latency compared to wireless, the wired cable has a very good length but it does completely remove any wireless connectivity which for this £180 controller for Xbox is just....uncessary. The module system allows customisation and repositioning which is a handy thing to have should you like this level of customisation. But the steering wheel module, does work and takes a bit of time to get used to the subtle movements needed to really get the most out of it but....£180 is a big asking price for what you can use a normal controller for, in fact this is positioned at the same price as an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller which is arguably the best controller I have ever used and can enhance ALL games not just racing ones. This is a very expensive controller which so far, is only focusing on one racing game, not all car games can use it and no word right now if it will be compatible with the next Forza Motorsports game due out come time in 2023....this is not a controller I would drop money on to have and use, the Xbox Elite controller is by far for the same price, a more all round performance enhancing controller. This feels over the top, over complicated and lack of basic wireless connectivity makes this an expensive one trick pony that never feels necessary at its price point.

Well-built controller, first impressions
Posting this an hour after receiving the control to record my initial thoughts, will try to provide updates at one week and one month. I'm mostly basing my 5 stars on the build quality. I feel that other aspects that determine how much you like a controller can be pretty subjective. What I want to give are my initial thoughts, the important things that strike me about the controller compared to others.First is that the controller is quite large. Xbox controllers are kind of known for their size, and Thrustmaster really heard that and said "Hold my beer" on this one. For me personally this isn't a problem because my hands are very large (the long, thin finger type) but it gives me the feeling that it's *borderline* a problem, which is remarkable since I've rarely met anyone with hands larger than my own. I think that if you have small hands, you will feel like an 8-year old holding this controller.

Superb
Not a big fan of the special wheel so far, but perhaps will take more getting used to. Overall, though, there’s no doubt that this is a top quality piece of kit. Expensive, but I suppose you get what you pay for and I’m glad I bought it.
