A wirefree PIR and Receiver - works well!
Quite expensive, but fairly easy to setup and as the PIR sensor operates on 868MHz, there's no unsightly wiring to worry about which, in turn, makes siting of the sensors a piece of cake!Beware though, the product description states that 'it comes complete with an Infra-red remote control capable of a 5 metre range' No such thing! I have five of these sensors around my property, none were supplied with an IR Remote. One is available on Amazon though, but it'll cost you an additional £10.As an unobtrusive means of providing security lighting I can't fault it. Amazingly versatile too, the receiver will link with Friedland SL3 (or greater) alarm, as well as the Spectra Plus Chime and bell push.

This unit does not come with nor will it work with a remote
The information regarding this product says that the Friedland Spectras can be used with a Remote to control the PIR unit. After buying this product I later found out that it is only the WIRED Spectra that can be used with a Remote. Seeing as the whole reason for my purchase was the use of a remote I am very dissatisfied with the product.Ignoring the above the product works very well as it stands, one PIR to control two lights was my setup. Very pricey though considering two lights (with their own PIRs) powered from Juntion Box would of been just as affective. The best thing I would say about this product is you can have the PIR and the light in different locations. If you are looking for a remote controlled light I did purchase the wired one. It states a 5m range for the remore, this is only LINE OF SIGHT so unless you point it at the PIR out of the window the unit will not switch on from inside your home. I intended it to be used to switch on a light as I approach a walled lane, I need to be in the lane for the PIR to detect the remote, by which time I have already set off the PIR. The remote is pretty much pointless!

DOES NOT COME WITH REMOTE - FALSELY ADVERTISED
The product may be ok, don't know - didn't get the chance to try it as had to return it because the description is wrong and misleading. This item does NOT come complete with a remote, as clearly and falsely stated. And, as I understand it, is not even compatible with a remote. Only the wired version can be used with the remote. Poor show.
