I chose this from the options available for price/performance, and I'm quite happy with it. I chose to use the screw holes to secure it to the underside of my desk, so you can't even find my Mac Mini with simple looking. I followed the advice to put tape on the surfaces that will contact the Mac, but the contact area is actually quite small, and I don't know that it is really needed. So, no surprises, works well.

Completely surrounds the Mac Mini, wish access to the ports and switches ok. Used with a cable lock.

Was looking for a way to reclaim some desk space and also secure my mac mini since it's very easy to steal.The good:+ The mount is well built and easily accommodated the mac mini 2018.+ it took minutes to mount+ got desk space up and made it much harder to stealThe bad- Unfortunately no screws have been included to actually mount the bracket- The security lock is not the same one pictured, i.e. with bracket for cables to go through. (see photo!) Not an issue for my use case but disappointingTop tips:* Whilst there are 8 screw holes, we found 4 to be enough (the lock is going to be the weak point!)* For performance mounting with the vent up will stop heat issues with thunderbolt cables (apple side down)* For wifi / BT performance, you might be better having the plastic side down since the antenna is here* The mount is powder coated so shouldn't scratch, however wise to use electrical tape for places in contact.* Buy screws that will fit to your desk at time of purchasing! None are included* tape the mount into position using electrical tape, then just screw it in with an electric screwdriver

Very expensive for what amounts to bit of aluminium - I guess you are paying for high grade strength. Did the job mounting my Mac Mini to the underside of my desk. You don't even get screws with this. Have had to apply tape onto the mount due to contact which will inevitably scratch my Mac Mini.

Works perfectly. For those wondering, it does come with a lock already (a small piece of metal that goes into the Kensington lock with a key) and there is space for another Kensington lock to lock it to a table, should you not want to screw it to a table.

Buen producto y compatible con la Mac mini 2010- 2018. Hay que tener cuidado con su acabado en ciertas partes por están rasposas sugiero limarlas para no rayar la mac. El único problema es su candado Que no es como lo anuncian viene incompleto y no es funcional.
