I got it for a competent, inquisitive 4 year old who’s good at reading and loves activities that allow him to explore and learn and I think this is an ideal kit, at the right level (with help/supervision).All the pieces are brightly coloured, chunky plastic and clearly designed with young children in mind. The experiments vary in complexity and amount of prep required but they utilise everyday items so everyone should be able to do at least some of the projects straight away.Project examples:- colour mixing and colour changing experiments, simulating lava from a volcano, observing insects, growing seeds, sink or float experiments etcExamples of extras you’ll need to do the science experiments are:- celery- lemon juice- vinegar- bicarbonate of soda- red, yellow and blue food colouring- fizzy drink- raisins- flower petals- tarnished pennies- cooking oil- seeds and soilCautionary notes:While there’s nothing in the box that’s inherently dangerous, toxic or hazardous (because you don’t get any “ingredients”, just the plastic tools), I do think it’s useful to read through all the cards before doing the experiments with your child. I actually decided to remove the “What’s that smell?” card from the stack because it suggests adding coffee, spices and perfume to the test tube to smell, which I don’t think is safe (inhaling powder, perfume fumes etc). Other than that, the experiments seem fine to me.Suggestions...I think there’s a lot of satisfaction for kids in being able to read and comprehend instructions, salvage and prepare items and use the tools to work through tasks. One thing that would have greatly enhanced the kit is the inclusion of a workbook or printed sheets to fill in and document results for each task; recording data is fundamental to science after all. I made my own basic sheets but maybe future editions could include this in the box!

That’s why I decided to order the Learning Resources Primary Science Lab Set for Kids (Pink) for my daughter, who is three years old.When the set arrived, I was pleased with the quality of the equipment. Each piece is chunky and easy for little hands to use, and all items are made from durable, child-safe materials. The beakers, pipette, and test tubes all have lids, and the set even includes a magnifying glass, funnel, tweezers, lab-style glasses, and 10 activity cards with science experiments.However, I was a bit disappointed to discover that the set doesn't come with any of the ingredients needed to conduct the experiments. You will need to provide your own supplies like lemon juice, currants, and food colorings from your kitchen cupboards. Moreover, I found the price tag of £40.00 to be quite high, and believe that it should be much more affordable.Nonetheless, my daughter and I had a lot of fun conducting the 10 experiments included in the activity cards. The instructions on each card are very clear and easy to understand, even for a preschooler. I appreciated that the cards are designed for children to read and work through, rather than having adults tell them what to do.One of the things I liked most about this set is that each piece of equipment is perfectly sized for younger children, with no sharp edges to worry about. All of the kit is also easy to wash, making it reusable for multiple experiments.Overall, the Learning Resources Primary Science Lab Set for Kids (Pink) is a great learning toy that provides a fun and safe introduction to science for young children. Hay un montón de kits de este tipo por internet, pero la cosa ha cambiado mucho desde que usabamos el quimicefa y esas cosas de otras épocas. en ese momento lo importante eran los experimentos, ahora hay que darles algo más a los niños, muchos kits se basan en un montón de experimentos con partes de baja calidad, y en otros casos como este, tiene menos experimentos, pero las pizas que incluye son muy estéticas e invitan a jugar con ellas.El equipamiento del kit simula al de un laboratorio, pero en juguete, y estéticamente es muy chulo, está muy bien acabado, y se ve plastico de calidad.Los experimentos están bastante bien explicados, y se pueden realizar sin problema, pero este es ese tipo de juguete a tener guardado en el armario y sacarlo cuando queramos jugar con los niños y pasar una buena tarde.Recomiendo totalmente este kit para incluclar a los niños la curiosidad científica, y si encima lo hacemos juntos, pues 10 de 10 !La unica pega que le pongo es que solo tiene 10 experimentos y no son largos, así que en dos tardes ya los has hecho todos.

The media could not be loaded.  Empezando por lo que menos me ha gustado de este juego, es que vengan todas las tarjetas en inglés, son tarjetas gigantes con los experimentos pero todo en inglés, si quieres aprender el idioma está genial, pero hay personas que no querrán esto, podrían estar en ambos idiomas. Están explicados los experimentos en español pero en un folleto que podría ser fácil de romper, sobre todo si lo usamos mientras estamos con los experimentos, las tarjetas son más fuertes y si se mojan no hay problema.Otra cosa se que solo viene el material, es decir, los tubos de ensayo, pipetas, matraz, lupa, entre otros, pero no viene ningún productos para hacer los experimentos, al menos podrían venir algunos colorantes alimenticios que es lo que más vamos a necesitar en nuestros experimentos.La idea es buena y me gustan los experimentos y los utensilios son grandes para que los manejen los peques. Creo que debería de mejorar en lo anteriormente expuestos y estaría genial, pues el precio dado a este producto necesita de estas mejoras, actualmente en 40 €.

Divertido a la vez que educativo.Este juego de laboratorio para peques está muy bien, con él pueden hacer pequeños experimentos y ver sus reacciones, sobra decir que todos los compuestos sin inocuos y está orientado para peques a partir de 3 años.Es una buena manera de introducirlos en el campo de la química, la única pega que le veo es que las tarjetas con las instrucciones de los experimentos vienen en inglés, y aunque algunos empiezan a tener clases de esta lengua, no tienen la comprensión necesaria para traducirlas todas.Aún así, es un juego muy entretenido a la vez que educativo.

The media could not be loaded.  Learning resources es una marca de juegos educativos que suelen tener buena calidad en los materiales pero, sobretodo, suelen tener unos objetivos educativos.En este caso, es un kit para hacer experimentos bastante interesante. Por un lado, trae una réplica de los instrumentos que suelen haber en un laboratorio, por lo que permite a los niños aprender vocabulario. Por otro lado, viene una serie de tarjetas con experimentos de diferente naturaleza y algunos son super chulos, les llaman mucho la atención y, sobretodo, te da pie a introducirles en las explicaciones de por qué pasan esas cosas y a la ciencia. Aprenden experimentando, que es la mejor forma y la más atractiva.Indica que es para mayores de tres años. A priori, puede parecer que niños de, aproximadamente, cuatro años son muy pequeños aún, pero no es así. En estas edades más cortas, aparte de trabajar todo lo que es la motricidad fina (trasvases de líquidos, echar gotas, verter, etc.), se les puede ajustar las explicaciones a la edad pero, sobretodo, les estimulas sensorialmente y vas estimulando sus cerebros con el mundo de la experimentación, de probar, etc. A partir de los seis o siete años, se puede cambiar el enfoque y centrarlo más en la comprensión científica de lo que ocurre. Aparte de ofrecerte ideas de experimentos, su valor más importante es que trae los utensilios, así que puedes probar a hacer muchas otras cosas.El único inconveniente que le encuentro es que las tarjetas vienen en inglés y, aunque ya estén en los primeros años de primaria, no van a saber traducirlo. En este caso, hay dos opciones, o el adulto que esté sí sabe inglés y le ayuda con la traducción o se les facilita un traductor en un dispositivo para que sean más autónomos.Lo recomiendo para quienes quieran dedicar tiempo con sus hijos a introducirse en este mundo curioso o si ya los niños tienen curiosidad por esto. Lo bueno es que puede servir para un amplio rango de edad.
