Q: How long will this jar keep once you open it? A week, month or year or more?

It will last more than 6 months. I bought this back in June and it's still "keeping"

Q: About how many "worms" are in each jar? (I know it goes by weight, but I'm looking for an approximation on quantity)

I've never counted. I'd guess 50ish my son has been fishing with the same jar for 2 years. They stay on the hook well

Q: If they are gettin dry can I use gulp alive recharge?

yeah, I accidentally spilled all the juice luckily on the ground and my maggots were getting dry, I used gulp alive recharged and works the same,

One time use. This is a dough bait. You form a ball on your hook or use a small ball sponge on the hook to roll in the dough bait. The bait dissolves in water.
