Best I have found.
After much pain/agony with 'other' cartridge filters, I found these to be what I was looking for. Pool water cleared up in 1 day and has remained clear. Filter psi is stable after 1 month of them being installed. I have not cleaned them yet (have not had too) but do not anticipate them being any different than other brands.Bottom line - they work as advertised, longevity is very good, WILL BUY THEM AGAIN. Highly recommend them to you too.

Durable and easy to clean which extends the life of the filters
These are well made and not as expensive as others I've seen.

These literally solved all of my pool problems
Owning a pool has been a hard fast learning curve that I did not fully understand when I accepted the challenge. There are so many things to know with chemical balancing and maintenance that I overlooked the simplest thing- worn out filters. I was fighting my pool day in and day out cleaning my filters twice a day, checking my chemicals and shocking daily, and it was just not clearing up. Had a pool guy come look at our pool and setup and he told me my filters were cooked and i needed to replace them and I would see it clear up immediately. Hopeful but skeptical and out of ideas, I ordered these the same day. Installed these filters the day they came in and left them running overnight. My pool was CRYSTAL CLEAR the next morning! I have one huge complaint and its at myself for not replacing my filters sooner. I could have saved blood sweat and tears and not even kidding money because I without a doubt dumped well over the cost of these filters in chemicals into my pool over the weeks I was fighting it. My ignorance taught me a hard learned lesson- when the filters are shot no amount of chemicals or effort can clear up your pool.

Drop-In replacement- pool is clean again!
Appear to be high quality and fit my Hayward 4025 Filter perfectly. Pool is clean and circulates like new again. I had been using and cleaning the original filters for 9 years. Turns out they were plugged with minerals but I didn't realize it because they looked pretty clean. At this price and value, I won't wait so long to replace them next time.

Good Product and OK price.
Much cheaper (by half) than purchasing them at your local pool supply and work just as well. Fairly easy to install. You probably have the skills and self confidence to do it yourself if you aren't a product of the current public school system or if you ARE a product of the public school system and haven't had ALL the masculinity brow-beaten out of you. Be a man...buy this and do it yourself.

Excellent long-lasting filters, definitely better than Hayward
Although I bought these around 3 years ago, I wanted to wait until I installed them and went through one cleaning cycle before reviewing them. I just pulled them and cleaned them for the first time (after 9 months!) and now I can give a realistic review. My system is on an inground, 12,000 gallon pool with 15 infloor pop-up heads divided into 5 groups of 3 by a Paramount 5 port valve. I have a Hayward Conservationist II 2 hp (true, not peak) pump feeding a Hayward C4030 cartridge filter. The filter had 4 Hayward filters installed when I bought it, and they lasted a couple of years, cleaned regularly, before the endcaps cracked and failed for no apparent reason. I installed the Pleatco set in June of 2014. Pressure was at ~22 PSI when installed new. Today it was perhaps 2 PSI higher, and I elected to clean them just to get ready for summer. They were certainly dirty when I pulled them, though not excessively so. I used a garden hose nozzle and methodically worked my way from top to bottom, winding up with a lot of mud and snow white filters that looked like new when I was done. The endcaps, bands, and fabric looked fine and undamaged. I thoroughly cleaned the filter housing, put the drain plug back in, and reinstalled the filters. Once the system was back up and running the pressure was back to around 22 PSI.I really like Hayward products as a rule, but I have to say that these Pleatco filters are built better, they clean better, and seem to last longer. I think the value, as in initial cost vs. longevity, is going to be the best out there. Time will tell, but as it stands right now I can highly recommend these as a terrific replacement for Hayward's in the C series filter housings.

Perfect fit for Hayward C-4025
Virtually identical to original filters but less expensive. Working perfectly a month or two in, far less brushing to do in pool, hopefully will last as long a time as original equipment but at this price I will likely just switch out for new ones each season - for context, we live in Southern California & pool is always open year round.

Looks Advanced
Upon first sight, you will find that these Pleatco filters are....wait for it...advanced. Really, they look like no filter ever before. I'm attaching pics to show the unique "quilted" elements. Brand new, they definitely flow great. The blue end caps are hard, but durable. As with my previous Pleatcos, it's a tight fit on the outflow manifold and top closure plate. I will update this review with future observations on cleaning and durability. Either way, it's just about cheap enough to buy a new set every year if I had to.Update: After three weeks I have removed the filters for inspection and cleaning, even though the water has been perfect. I mainly wanted to see how the filters looked. The new Advanced material is very smooth and debris washes out with little resistance. This could change over time as the material wears with time and multiple cleanings. I like it so far. Now I will let it go several weeks before cleaning again.Update 2: It's been 3 pool seasons and these filters are toast. The bands were splitting and separating from the filter material near the end. In the south, I don't ever formally "close" my pool. For my VERY harsh pool environment (under trees, lots of leaves and small debris), I run the pump in order to keep the pool looking clean. This takes a HUGE toll on any filter I use. Anyway, I would say I have a "worst case" pool situation and that 3 years is all I could get out of these filters.
