Love this tea kettle. I've been on the search for a red tea kettle and have gone through several. I didn't think this reasonably priced one would be much better than the others, but I was wrong. It is lightweight but sturdy. Metal bottom means the red enamel will probably not chip off like the previous ones. It has a large opening for filling. The handle stays gets warm, but stays cool enough to be picked up with a bare hand - no need for a clumsy pot holder. Best of all, it actually whistles loud enough to be heard in the next room. Just make sure the lid is on tight.

This kettle is very pretty and I'm using it for a kitchen decoration for now. I bought it for a gift and kept it for myself.

I thought the quality of this kettle would be better being Emeril LaGasse cookware.It's not. The handle gets hot, the paint is wearing off after 5 days and it doesn't whistle. I will return it because it's useless.

I bought this teapot in black a year ago. The paint got scratched within a month or so which wasn't a big deal to me. Today I washed it and all the paint peeled completely off. The lid is hard to get off but I think it has to be that tight to make it whistle. I have to use something to grip the lid to get it open. It whistles loudly and does all it's supposed to.

It is a cute teakettle because of it's shape. I purchased the red and it is a very nice shade of red.Drawbacks in on it are - 1- The Whistle, It has to actually boil a very long time before it will whistle. The kettle actually turns a dark red near the top when it whistles loudly. 2. Do Not TOUCH the lid at all when the kettle gets to the hot point it will whistle. It Will Burn You. The lid should have a cool touch knob on it. It is also hard to get the lid on and off. That's why I gave it 4 stars.

I got it 3 months ago and so far is working well, did not lose color. It is not very big but it is big enough for what I need. Nice looking.

I don't like how the handle swivels but it boils good and holds plenty of water

Love this tea kettle. It looks great on the stove and is easy to use. Cleaning it is also easy. Haven’t had any issues with the lid or handle. Very classic with the white cabinets.
