Try to avoid it unless you find it with less than 50€
The camera is quite heavy and the mount is small and thin, so the image usually suffers from vibrations and depending the road surface and the engine revs the video can become quite unusable. The video compression seems to be high, and the result is to miss some details on the final video, which sometimes can be very important (license plate at the edge of the image, or at a distance)Terrible terrible terrible performance in low light conditions, especially if you are on countryside where there are no other lights around the street, in that case you definitely cant see license plates of any kind (you cant even see road-signs on most occasions!) and sometimes you cant even see what kind of car are you crossing with!Do you know some cases where you see someone to try and overpass for too long and at the end causing an accident? or someone who tries to park for too long and end up hitting/scratching few cars next to him?well... if you press "SOS" button with this camera you will probably WONT SAVE the video you meant to save because SOS button only saves 10sec prior and 20sec after you pressed it!There is no other option! It wont save the whole 3 minute video, so good luck keep pressing the button all the time in case you need evidence on a long duration incident, and if you think that you will stop recording and download the whole clip on your phone through WiFi, well good luck either, because this camera has the slowest WiFi i've ever seen (When it works!) im talking about 20-30 minutes just of one 3min clip!It has a quite useful and interesting "screen saver" showing the speed on its screen, i really liked that on when i discovered it!The problem with this is that there is no option to dimm the screen or change the font color, so it can be very annoying and distracting during the night, unfortunately i turned it off.The image is really great only on a sunny day, with the engine off to avoid any kind of vibration.Polarising filter adds a few stars on my rating, since it does an amazing job in eliminating windshield reflections and glare. The installation was kind of difficult just for the reason that the camera is kind of huge compared to other cameras, so its not easy at all to place it in front of the mirror due to the extra length of the mount (maybe thats why is has so intense vibrations?) which obscure the drivers field of View.I'm testing this camera two days now, and im seriously thinking to pack it and send it back!Totally unacceptable issues from a "premium" camera and manufacturer!

Great quality video but unreliable and poor manual
The video quality on this camera is very good, with clear sharp images in daylight. Night time video is also better than most dash cams, but obviously not up to daylight quality. Installation was relatively simple and uploads to my desktop Mac are straightforward. However, reliability has not been so good. I had a number of problems with SD cards corrupting files and recordings failing, even though I made sure to buy the specification of card specified in the manual. After a few communications with Nextbase support it transpired that the SD card specified in the manual was not up to the job. A high endurance card is required to cope with frequent overwriting of files, but nowhere is this mentioned in any documentation. The second problem is more severe. The battery has failed and after fully charging it for two hours it only lasts about a minute. My camera is hard wired into the car, so you would think this is not an issue, but even with power from the car the camera will not operate without a working battery. My camera is out of the warranty period and their repair centre is closed because of the COVID lockdown, so I can't get it repaired. I now have a useless, expensive piece of kit.I bought this camera after a minor accident where the other party left the scene, so I wanted to have a record for future events. Since then there have been two occasions (near misses or idiotic behaviour from other drivers) when video footage would have been useful, but on both occasions my camera was not working. In summary, this is a very good camera when it works and I give it five stars for its features, but it has been so unreliable that I can only give it two overall. My advice is to look at other makes. I am debating whether or not to spend money on repairing this one.

Best Dash Cam
Best dash Camera I ever got or seen. Picture quality is very good with good fast responding AGC and no tearing, however the mount is fiddly to remove camera for security purposes. It also doesn't mount the camera close enough to the screen so that reflections off the screen from the dash can be seen in the image which is distracting. It could do with being much closer to the screen with a baffle to obscure the light from the sides. Mount not particularly secure either as it fell off the first time I used it, dropping my camera into the dash and then onto the floor. The camera also wobbles around under vertical and lateral movement of the vehicle.Video files are broken up into small 1minute chunks in both 4k and low resolution and will fill the micro SD card very quickly, 64GB will last around 3hour 14minutes then start over writing the start which was sadly not long enough to retain video footage of two idiots overtaking someone attempting to turn right (UK) which I captured 4 hours previously.Another issue which is becoming more of an issue over the months I've been using this is the fact it does not have brown out protection so if battery voltage dips during engine start then it can crash the Dashcam and won't recover until the internal battery voltage has dies which could take 2 hours or more.
