I already have a quarter-inch diameter hole punch, but found it just a bit too big for the job that needed doing, but ordering this eighth-inch punch did the trick.The only minus is the fact that the instrument can't be turned over to line up the where-to-punch-work hole, as it is covered by a 'confetti catcher', so you have to rely on dodgy judgment rather than proper visible accuracy, but this little gadget sort of makes up for that problem by not allowing tiny round paper pieces to snow all over the place.Made of metal and has a good spring action. Seems to be sturdy enough for average use. Cuts/punches adequately. Stores away into the almost tiniest of spaces. Arrived via Amazon delivery guy, so didn't have to wait too long for it to get delivered.

Does what i need it to do

I use this for making holes in products tags (made of card) that I make for my shop. The hole size looks nicer than a standard hole punch as it's more discreet. I can easily thread a 3mm wide ribbon through this hole and it looks very neat.Sturdy and good delivery time. Would recommend.

Holes a little smaller than I thought but works for what I need it for. Holes would not be big enough for a standard ring binder folder.

I was amazed at the price of this! Yes I had to wait for it to arrive but it was worth it. It punches through 4 layers of thick Kraft card with no problem. I haven't tried it with more as i don't think my hands could do it! A great little accessory.
