The Repeater Live Trap is a re-usable galvanized metal rat trap that is an effective way to catch and release rats in a humane and friendly manner. This trap is designed to capture rats via a trap door that is triggered by a bait tray. Capacity of the trap is between 20-30 rats. This is amazingly effective
Setting this trap means keeping it stocked with bait for at least a week, allowing the rats to build trust - see photo. Then, unlock the trigger and they start falling in... one after the other. The first time (not an exaggeration) I caught 11 rats in one evening. The next time, six months later, I captured 22 of all ages!Because the rats not attracted into the trap are the most wary, if you are setting in the same location you do have to wait at least 3 months to try again. But each time has huge catch numbers. Worth the money.
