Lifesaver for BIOS Recovery â Worked Perfectly on ASRock BC-250
I used this WWZMDIB CH341A BIOS Programmer to recover and flash the BIOS on my ASRock BC-250, and it worked like a charm. If youâve ever bricked a motherboard or need to update firmware directly on a chip, this is the tool you want in your kit.The kit comes complete with the CH341A programmer, a solid SOIC8 clip, and SOP8/SOP16 adapter boards â everything you need for in-circuit programming. No soldering required â just clip it on the chip and go. The SOIC8 clip held firm and made clean contact with the BIOS chip on the first try.It supports a wide range of EEPROMs (24, 25, 93 series), and it was compatible with the chip on my ASRock board with no issue. I used open-source tools with it, and the backup, erase, and write process was smooth and reliable. If youâre into PC repair, BIOS modding, or just want a way to unbrick a bad flash, this little device is powerful, affordable, and easy to use. Absolutely worth it for the peace of mind alone.

I could not be happier with this product.
Three days before Christmas I was building a PC for my nephew on a Z490 platform. I auto-updated the bios, and the PC never re-booted. The motherboard had bricked. It also turned out that there was no bios flashback on that MSI motherboard. This adapter arrived NEXT DAY. I was able to find a pinout to the bios chip, and re-flash the chip externally. It saved me about $300 and a day of driving around in the snow looking for a Z490 motherboard.

Works, but cheaply made
It's works as intended but upon me try to remove some solder from a few pads using solder wick it rubbed the slik layer right off exposing the traces and now the USB programmer is useless so I had to order another one đ

Its very capable and worth having.
4/5 based on price to quality comparison. Would have liked some type of instructions, or at least a link to a site with a diagram for different chips. I need 3.3 V to flash my bios chip, but wasn't able to find documentation on how to set it upp. Although I don't think that is specific to this brand. It seems to be difficult to find instructions on using these programmers in general. Especially for a 3.3 V chip without having to do DIY modifications. I would still recommend it if you know that it will work for what you're trying to do. Its worth the price and I will be keeping the one I have even though I couldn't use it this time. It's going in my computer tool bag.

AMAZING value, but no instructions
This saved me almost $700 bringing several devices back from the dead. I use this to backup and reflash SPI flash BIOS chips on motherboards. Everything i needed was included EXCEPT the software and instructions. Had to google to find instructions and download links after looking for a model number on the USB programmer. Cant believe this was only $10!!!

1 Star â Completely Non-Functional. Waste of Time.
This CH341A programmer arrived looking fine, but it was totally dead on arrival. Tried it on two separate PCs, multiple USB ports, correct drivers, and multiple flashing tools (AsProgrammer, CH341A Programmer v1.34) â nothing worked. The system wouldnât detect it, and every flashing app returned a âDevice Not Connectedâ or âCH347(-1)â error, which means the programmer itself isnât initializing at all.I even tested it without the SOIC8 clip connected to rule out shorting issues â still nothing. LED lights up, but it doesnât communicate at all.Based on how many forums mention this same problem, it looks like this seller has serious quality control issues.Donât waste your time like I did. Look for a better-reviewed CH341A kit or spend a little more for one with proven reliability.
