Perfect addition to campfire cooking! Delicious mountain pies and pizza melts

This is exactly as advertised. It’s a single oven that is double wide. For some reason they do provide you with two sets of handles which is weird. My family has enjoyed making everything from hand pies to grilled cheese and pizza to breakfast sandwiches.

This worked as expected, but sadly, the handles are really short, which means you have to get really close to your coals/fire, and have to move them around. It does work, don't get me wrong, and made some great mountain pies, just wish they would give you handles that are twice as long as what is provided. I will say, I got 2 sets of handles... but they were the same length.

The pie-iron has a nice big face for larger sandwiches. I think this leans more towards a stovetop panini press, than a campfire type of pie iron. The handles are short because of the weight of the iron. A longer handle would be extremely difficult to hold suspended over a fire.I think this is good for making sandwiches over a stovetop, setting on a cooking grate over a smaller fire, cooking on a camping stove, but I would not recommend it for hanging over a large fire.It's nice they provide extra handles in case one breaks.Its easy to clean, and I would treat it like a cast iron pan to season it and not use harsh chemicals or abrasives to clean it. I personally like this pie iron for certain uses.

We recently purchased a fire pit and immediately wanted a Pie Iron to enjoy making treats around the fire, so purchased this one from Amazon. We love it! It works wonderful and so nice to do 2 pies at 1 time.

I don't think this company knows what their doing making or packaging.The box says 2Comes with oneBut yet it comes with an extra stick....And the stick is HALF as long as it should be.Real cast iron but really cheap stick.
