These measurement guide strips are a great variety for beginners

I ordered the 20 piece set and only 18 pieces were in the box. Two of the thickness sizes 3mm and 12 mm) only have one strip. These are otherwise nice wooden pieces which you put on either side of the clay and then roll out your clay to create an even thickness slab of clay for slab construction work. I ordered these for my art classroom for hand building ceramics. You need to have two pieces of wood one on each side, so having two of the thickness with only one does not work. These guides are awesome for rolling out slabs! If you're going to be doing any kind of slab work in clay, these are a must-have. I love that the set came with guides for a number of different thicknesses! The wood is smooth and uniform, and (unlike some other reviews) our pack came correctly with 2 guides for each size.
