Keep Chicken Coop Secure!
We installed these for our chickens after a raccoon climbed up the coop, opened one of our simple slide locks and got in to our hens. We lock the padlock hole with 3 inch Ahiller Double Locking Carabiners (also on Amazon) and now our hens are secure. Easy install, sturdy, can be used either direction.

Good latch, great price.
This is an excellent quality latch; much heavier and better finished than I expected for the price, and definitely stainless steel. Does the job, and looks better than in the pictures. I recommend.

Not just for gates!
This latch works great on the wooden door on the back porch!! If you have one of these doors you know it is sometimes difficult to keep them snug when closed especially during storms. Sometimes they sag no matter how strong your hinges are since the weather can give them a beating. I was concerned that the latch would be too wide but it fit perfectly. Very strong and slide easily. LOVE IT! If you just have the very common hook and eye, swap it out for this!! I bought two for that door but only needed one. That's okay I will find another use for the second latch!

For Chicken run Dutch door
These latches are exactly what we needed for our chicken run duch door.Don't want any other animals I.E raccoons finding their way into the run. So lockable latches were the way to go. We use carabiner to keep it locked up and it works perfectly.

Good design.
Perfect for my barn/shed - works as a lock and a handle. Hard to open accidentally. You can use a padlock with it as well, if need be.
