Hatton Hill 's wild rice mix is a visually stunning, tious change from single-variety rices, featuring Camargue red rice, long-grain brown rice and wild rice. Our wild rice mix has a lovely, slightly nutty flavour, thanks to the inclusion of Camargue rice. Its consistency is very similar to that of regular brown rice – firm and a little chewy, thanks to the bran outer coating that gives each of the three types of grains their colour, and tender in the middle. It's a superb, visually dazzling substitute for plain white or brown rice, with a superior tional profile and a higher level of y fibre than white varieties. Our wild rice mix can be used in any dish in which you’d use brown or white rice – think stir fries, stuffed peppers, side dishes, salads, soups, casseroles, rice s, pilafs, paellas… You get the idea – in everything. And the grains in this mix hold their shape better than white rice, making it suitable for a range of dishes in which white rice simply wouldn’t perform – think salads, for starters, but also vegetable bakes and patties for rice burgers.
