Beautiful Theater VR Headset. Worth the Purchase!
After trying different styles and price ranged VR theater headsets, I finally broke down and decided to give these ones a try. Since there aren't a lot of reviews I am going to make a detailed one on my opinion in hopes it will help you decide if these are worth it for you.Right out of the box I can tell these are so much better than anything else I tried on the market. The carrying case is amazing and super low profile making it easy to put in a small backpack or brief case and carry around with you. All the cables and straps fit neatly inside it and for the first time in my life I have found instructions that detail how to place them neatly back into the case. My OCD has never been so satisfied. So for travel purposes these are really easy to take with you. After taking them out and putting it all together I noticed its lightweight feel and comfortable fit. It doesn't feel like a large weight hanging off of your face and the easily removable foam pads offer comfort with a way to wash or replace as needed which I find to be a great feature. There is a jack on the left side to connect your headphones and the HDMI connection cable on the opposite side. I followed the little instruction booklet to get started and setup was really easy. The provided remote helps move things a long pretty quick so setting up Bluetooth and WiFi takes no time at all. The remote itself is used for storing a number of videos, settings, the battery, and obviously helping control certain functions. The Samsung OS makes plugging in any USB full of content really easy to access, so bring on any movies you might have. Plugging it into the wall or PC port can charge it.Charging takes a little bit of time. I used my computers USB port to charge it and it took a little while. The remote has convenient LEDs on the side that let you know the battery level. The battery lasts a good while with Bluetooth and WiFi turned off, but if you need a charge in the middle of the move, the device supports charging during playback. For the picture quality I don't think I have found any close competitor. Because I wear glasses and my eyesight isn't the best I have been picky and harsh on these headsets. Most of them I have tried left me with blurry edges or a slight blur in the middle where the dual screens just don't quite merge properly and settings couldn't be adjusted any further. But this headset blew them all away. I can clearly see the whole screen in beautiful OLED quality. After tweaking with the settings I was able to get an amazing picture even without my glasses. It really does look like one large personal theater screen. Setting them up was really easy and the numbers are there to write down in case you decide to let a friend borrow your headset. So far I have had the opportunity to connect these to my computer and my XBox and they work great. Other than connecting the cables there is no additional set up needed. I have tried to connect to my PS4 but I haven't had any luck yet. The dual USB and HDMI setup that the headset comes with doesn't reach the HDMI in the back and the USB up front. I have tried a USB extension but no luck yet. More of a Playstation design fault than a problem with the product, but once I come up with a fix I will edit my review. The only con I have for this product is the fit around the sides. I have a narrow face so there is a little light that can get in if you are using these in a really bright environment. Only one other headset I found had soft rubber edges that could mold to your face to block that. On the plus side though, you can adjust the brightness of the screens and I didn't really notice any light other than really dark sections of movies or games.Overall this has been the best Theater VR Headset I have tried yet. Very much worth the purchase if you are on the fence about it. You really do get what you pay for if you decide to go the cheap route.EDIT 12/16/17I wanted to edit my review for a few things. First off I tried to contact their customer service 3 times to help me with my PS4 connection problem without a single whisper back from them. Considering they seem very forward with a card that tells you to contact them before returning an item. They have no phone number so the best I could do was submit their stupid form which didn’t work. So don’t expect any customer service assistance. Secondly, I managed to fix this problem myself. Turns out that the hdmi cable that was included didn’t work with the PS4 for some reason. After using a nicer more durable cable and hooking it up BEFORE turning on the system makes it work like a charm. So again, overall an amazing product. Terrible customer service and included hardware.

I am giving 5 stars to the primary element in this package - the goggles. The picture quality is fantastic. The included android-based player/remote is probably only 3-4 stars - it is useful for travelling (and as a USB battery for the goggles) but for the best quality playback I would recommend buying a smart Blu-ray player (which includes Netflix, Amazon, Vudu and other services) and use the goggles as a display. This latter solution gives the best quality for Netflix and other services as well as Blu-ray playback. One complaint is that these goggles are not compatible with the standard 3D output for most Blu-ray players which normally would require you to rip the 3D blu-ray discs to a compatible SBS format. However, Panasonic manufactures several Blu-ray players which can output the 3D Blu-ray video in the necessary format - I have bought the Panasonic DMP-BDT110 Wi-Fi Ready 3D/2D Blu-ray Disc Player for this purpose and the 3D playback on the goggles is outstanding without any need to rip the discs! Just set the output format to Side-by-Side (SBS). Also, remember to connect the Goglle's USB cable to a either a USB charger base or a battery when viewing in order for the goggle screen to be lit.

Very strong chemical smell holds back a decent portable movie theater.
I travel a lot for work and have been looking for something like this product for years now. I finally took the plunge with this item. To start with I returned it 2 days after I got it because there was a chemical smell that was very strong to the point of giving me a headache very quickly. Like 15 minutes after putting it on I had a headache and after 45 minutes I had a massive headache. I put them on the second day and only watched a video but the same thing happened again. I debated giving this 1 star but I will give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt that this was a one off or one batch error that will / has been fixed. In the just over an hour of time I spent with this unit over 2 days; I spent around 10 minutes getting my vision set up, 30 to 40 minutes of playing video games and about 15 to 20 minutes of watching a video.I will start with the good. When watching a video I used my iPad Pro and the HDMI out dongle and an Anker external battery pack. The headset has just an HDMI cable that comes out of it and when you use the remote / battery pack with it that is all you need. But if you use it with other devices then you need to use the adapter that comes with the headset. The adapter just allows you to add power to the headset via a battery pack or any USB port. this is the best part of this product, it really is like being in the center of a large movie theater. It is exactly like they claim it is.As for video games I never realized just how much time I spend glancing at the corners of the screen. That takes very little effort when you are on a TV but when playing games I wished that there was a way to make the screen seem just a bit smaller.I do have a slight astigmatism but was able to get the unit to focus clearly but I did need to be perfect with my left eye. My right seemed to be very easy to get very clear. So if you do have any astigmatism I would use caution. They do say that there is a way to get lenses for this and to get in contact with the company to do this. I am not sure if this is even possible here in the US.- Fit was very comfortable but not perfect as far as keeping light out. These were very light and I could see myself wearing something like this for hours on end.- Build quality also seemed to be good or better with the exception of the chemical smell.- Remote / power pack seemed to be built very well. The interface was ok in my very short time using it and I did not use it for anything other than calibrating the headset.- I used it with the remote, an iPad Pro and an Xbox One X.In closing if the chemical smell was not there I would have kept these just for watching movies and would have given them another shot with playing games. Again without the smell my review would have been either a 3 or a 4 depending on how I would have felt after a few more hours with the device.

Great display, controls are way bad or missing!!
Screens are excellent but controls are desirable, no volume control, it only supports sbs 3d, my 3d button switch went bad with second use of the device and I don't know how to fix it!That defeats the whole idea of a 3d viewer. Too bad for me since I left it in the closet too long, the guarantee is no longer in effect. The hand held android comes with it is a joke and that was the reason I did not use it then but now I use Amazon fire stick with it, and it works just fine except for the 3d part.
