ELlight Portable LED Solar Lights with Hook, Remote Control Dimmable E27 Indoor Solar Lamp for Chicken Coop Shed Camping Tent Power Outage Home Emergency

Not the most intuitive gadget to use, and the cool blue-white light is a bit harsh, but I like this lamp all the same. I use it for camping, charge it up in the sun all day, put it in the tent at night, then when it’s time to go to bed, I point the remote, turn on the lamp, and voila! I can find my tent in the dark. Of course, the little remote only works from like maybe 15-20’ away max, but still. I haven’t recharged it in a light socket yet as it recharges with the solar panel just fine.

I love the light and the solar panel, but the flimsy remote only worked for about a month. I replaced the batteries but no luck. Overall the product is awesome, except for the remote, and without it the light is worthless (in my setup).

The lamp illuminates strong light for solar power, it is nice being able to detach it from the solar panel cable and the hook offers an easy way to suspend the lamp from a nail in a ceiling or a wall allowing me to work anywhere in my large shed that does not have electricity. The clear plastic covering the LEDs seems to be cheap as it got scratched the first day I used the lamp. Does not seem to affect the amount of illuminated light.

This light was supposed to give my chickens extra light all day and night. (To help egg production.) this is not the light for that. Especially if you live where your average temperature is below 50* f in the winter. Sorry I can’t say I love it.

The light is great. Charges from solar panel placed in south facing window. Unfortunately, the remote will not work. Bought new battery in case battery was dead, but still did not work. Unable to determine if light will dim as the remote is needed for the dimming function.EDIT:Seller contacted me and sent a replacement remote. Works well in a shed located in the rear of our large lot. The solar sensor is placed in a south-facing window and seems to keep the battery charged.

This product is a piece of junk, don't waste your Monday. For the remove you have to be right in front of it to use it and the remove button stopped working in 4 days. Then the wire that hooks up to the bulb fell out of the back. So I got 5 days of use out of this. Shop elsewhere.

We put this in our chicken coop because we got tired of changing batteries in the light we had out there. (No electricity in coop.) It's great! Plenty of light to count our hens and Guinea fowl when they return to the coop at night. Guineas are blind at night, so this gives them the light they need to find their way inside the coop. It's amazing how much power a small solar panel can generate.
