Serial RS323 RJ11 to USB communication cable.

Serial RS323 RJ11 to USB PLC communication/programming cable. I manage several PLC's that have a RJ11 as a way of connecting to the PLC's with Serial communications to be able to communicate and program the PLC's. I wanted to have an option to be able to communicate with the PLC's in the event that TCP/IP failed. This cable did not work out of the box, the pinout was incorrect for the PLC I was using. I made an adapter for it and it worked as advertised. Overall decent value for the cost.

Make sure you know what you are looking for

This product description is very clear, 6P6C with FTDI chip, which means it only works with devices that are compatible with FTDI drivers. I tried it on a telescope mount that requires CP210x driver. It simply does not work.
