Assembly is easy and straight forward. Tools needed. 3/4" wrench, 1/2" wrench or sockets.Lift the engine on a hoist, bolt the cradle to the engine, lower to a concrete floor and you are good to go.I have a couple of these with an engine on each. I can easily roll the engines around the garage for storage or for working on them.The engine cradle works for small block & big block Chevy engines.(Not for LS Type engines). Holds 750 lbs. Has nice heavy-duty swivel casters. Crossbar holds included engine attachment bolts.Best price I was able to find.

This stand is well made and comes with everything you need for a very reasonable price it’s very easy to move around it’s great if you want to start the engine

Its good quality, easy to assemble. Steel swivel casters (all 4 swivel) no locks. It did not fit my LM7/L59 block (2007 silverado classic 5.3) I was able to make it work as 2 (1 each side engine mount) lined up and held just fine for transport of long block. Included picture measurements of mount holes. Hope it helps.

Have a Chevy 454 big block for a future project. Bought this cradle to make it easy to move around as I do finish work on my garage-drywall etc. this cradle is very well priced and effective. Was skeptical at first on small package and minimalist design. But is very effective and I imagine fair priced due to design. Comes with bolts to attack motor via motor mounts and trans housing. Simple, and easily rolls a big block around.

Very well powder coated, heavy duty wheels that are thru bolted. But plan to use for mercedes V8. Might need adapter.

didn't break.. and doesn't flex much when "U" shape is bolted.Satisfied, easily breaks down for storage when done.

Very good quality for the price. FYI it will hold LS engines just fine. You will only be able to use the 4 bellhousing bolts and the front bars will rest up against lugs on the block. I have 4 of these with LS engines on them.
