I have found that these are great replacements for the "safety" nozzles that come standard on all gas cans. I find those to be more hazardous than these simple spouts as you tend to loose control trying to get them to flow decently. Maybe it's just me. I also find those wear out after a season, don't let the air in and break quickly. I keep these on hand to quickly replace the broken ones. These are flexible enough to make it easy to get the spout into the tank before filling. I haven't had any break on me yet. The only issue I have is my father tends to loose the caps when he takes them off. That's a him problem, nothing to do with these nozzles. I have tried them on several different brands and the different nuts work with most brands. Very happy with these.

Originally thought would not work but worked fine. Fits can good and no leaks.

These are a direct replacement for the garbage spouts that come on new gas cans. I have a variety of can styles, and the included parts fit all of them. A set of caps, with built-in lanyards are included in the package, and they do not fit anything included in the package, but they do fit some of the other older spouts I have. These extra caps may also fit the smaller threaded vents that some cans have.

This is a nice set, with most of what you might need to replace gas can pour nozzles and caps, including the vent cap. I have three different brands of gas cans, the big name ones you get from the big box stores. I see them everywhere. Unfortunately, these caps did not fit any of them. Even though the set comes with both fine and coarse threads, none of them had the same thread spacing as mine. The spout caps didn’t fit either on my existing pour spouts. Some of my cans have screw on air vent holes, and I was hoping the spout caps might fit them, but also no luck. So these MIGHT work for you, but the seller should specify exactly which brands of cans they fit.

I've attached a photo of some of the fuel cans we returned to service with these spouts and vents. No leaks, good seals. Definite improvement over the ridiculous leak/spill proof junk that was on these cans before.

Was really looking forward to replacing the old spouts on multiple gas cans. To my surprise the caps for the spouts are the wrong size (way to small). Now I need to wait another two weeks for a different set. Without working caps the gas will just evaporate and go stale. Not to mention the safety issues for transporting gas cans without caps!

Over time I've found the spouts to some of my gas cans have become problematic. These did the job to replace them, and it's handy to have extras in case they're needed in the future.

The cat comes with a lot of options to connect to different kinds of gas cans and it comes with vents and a drill bit. So when your newer gas cans use a vented spout and get rid of that piece of garbage with its flap that fails and falls apart. You put on a normal flex spout drill hole in it and just pop in the event plug that they come with. I love these things I need to get more
