This is a review for the Babaria Retinol Face Rejuvenator, 1.7 oz - Night Cream Face Moisturizer - Anti Aging Cream. "Anti-aging" and "rejuvenator" are 2 terms that marketers use to entice women to spend a lot of money on products that promise things that they can't deliver. The fact is, your skin WILL age. You can moisturize it to death once you've gotten wrinkles, but you're kidding yourselves if you think that the cream will make you look younger. It would be much better to stay out of the sun, stay hydrated at all times, and avoid alcohol and any type of cigarettes. This cream is a good moisturizer. Do I look younger? No. Is my skin "rejuvenated?" No. But it does hydrate it, which it needs, and smells very good, always a plus. The cream is gelatinous so you get a glob on it on your finger, but it spreads quite nicely. It is not greasy and gets absorbed well. I actually enjoy using it as it feels like a pampering session every night due to the nice scent.

I first time bought it when we visited Spain. I really love it, happy that they sell it here in US. Scent is very pleasant and sweet, it making applying process more enjoyable! Retinol and hyaluronic acid together work well for my skin. Definitely recommend cream from Babaria.

Buena crema, pero el olor é mui fuerte

This Babaria Retinol face cream has a very strong floral perfume scent. It strikes me as an old-fashioned or vintage perfume odor. Unfortunately this scent lingers long after application; I found myself catching a whiff of it throughout the day. I was tempted to wash my face to get rid of it, as I found it overpowering, but managed to carry on. The face cream jar does come with a safety seal, which is fantastic. The texture is almost whipped; it doesn't feel heavy or oily. I did not experience any skin irritation on the days I used it. It did not feel as moisturizing as my regular unscented face cream (elf holy hydration). However, the odor is just too much for me, and ultimately after a few days of use I went back to my regular unscented face cream from a different brand. If you are not sensitive to perfumes, this may be a good choice for you.
