ILD-200 works great on R410A. Wish I bought this sooner.
This review is for ILD-200. It is a shame they mix all the reviews together for 3 different models. I had a leak on a R410A mini split that I couldn't find with leak spray. This thing arrived in one day fully charged. I've never used a leak detector before. I read about two sentences of the instructions and turned it on. I checked several different parts of the system. Even on high sensitivity I got zero false positives. When I got to the area of the leak the beeper went off 100%, even when I turned down the sensitivity. It is actually a pretty big leak although the bubble liquid barely indicated it even after the detector showed where it was. I may never need this again but I'm keeping it. This thing is a solid performer on R410A which I believe is one of the harder ones to detect.

Surprised
Worked surprisingly well, used it to test a 1234yf extremely hard to find slow leak on a 2025 vehicle. I did manage to find the leak prior to purchasing this with a old CPS leak seeker that does 134A. Was skeptical using that one since many go off on anything, it's hard to trust them. But purchased this to update to the newest freon. And it worked, detected the leak soon as I placed it near the area. I'm, pleased, esp for the price, it's not a bad purchase.

Well worth the extra dough compared to the others. Still Better than Snap on at half the price.
These work really nice- ordered 2. Very sensitive to.

It already saved me money!
So far so good!

Great sensitivity and easy
Way better than my other current meter at picking up smaller leaks, at least for R410. And easy to use. And claims a 10 year life. Not tested that yet, but that would be great. Was an issue with my last sniffer that did not last more than a year or so it seemed.

Immediately Found Undetected Leak
After failing to find a refrigerant leak in a Goodman Heat Pump Unit condenser coil, this device found it it 5 minutes - not in the most likely place I suspected due to oil trail. I don't know that I would have ever found the slow leak...what I call "bunny tails" bubbles behind a frame piece. With such a wide range of prices on these devices I was not sure that this would work due to economical price. I do have an Elitech scale thats great. I did trust the reviews on this detector. I hope it lasts for the next leak I encounter.

Finds leaks quick
The media could not be loaded. Works great used it today for the first time to find a leak in a condenser and found it really quick.

Not sure yet
Haven't found a leak with it yet. I use the dye normally, the secret to my magic. When it's failed, this hasn't helped so far. I'll update my review if anything changes. Update on review. Probe gives false alarm every time it's gently pumped while trying to reach in to tight places. USELESS. 30 Day send back warranty. I'm a day too late so I'll eat $200
