Agressive Gripper
OK, I live where we got 16ft of snow last year, (not all at once, but over the winter). So, the landscape was always snow. Underneath it, regularly, there was slush, and mud. Think lot's of driving pain, then you've got it. I live in a place where everyone else has four wheel drive vehicles. I have a two wheel drive mini-van. These chains got me through some insane amount of snow. One day I was driving through snow that was over the front bumper of my van and so it was gliding up over my windshield. I put these chains on and off in the absolute worst conditions in about 10 minutes tops. When I got them they didn't quite fit, but I bought two small chain links and added them to each hook end, problem solved. The auto-tighteners are simple and amazing. The Chains don't come loose, I was even spinning my tires on hard, icy, frozen mud ground at one point, and they still didn't come off or come loose (yes, I pushed these chains to the absolute limit, probably more than they were meant for). The manufacturers deserve a pat on the back.

The easiest chains to put on!
I fell in love with these chains when I first bought a pair on a whim for my Dodge Ram 2500 several years ago. I had (and still do) used the Super Z line on some of my vehicles which are great cables, but these chains are so much easier to put on and they have become my go to whenever I purchase a new vehicle. The auto-trac system could not be easier to use. You simply flip up the ratcheting levers, wrap the chain around your tire, connect the ends together, and flip down the ratcheting lever. Done. The chains self tighten after a couple tire revolutions. There is a laminated sheet explaining the whole process with easy to see pictures. The traction seems equal to, if not slightly better than that of my Z series cables. I can not speak to heavy use and long-term durability as we only use chains a couple times a year in our southern California mountains, but they seem well made and have never failed me.They are more expensive than some plain tire chains, but the ease of use pays off when you need to install them on the side of the road quickly.

Easy installation
Had to practice a couple of times installing them. I only used them twice this year makes my two wheel drive pickup like 4 wheel drive.

Easiest Install Ever
Bought some of the Super Z6 chains last season, and struggled to install the manual tensioner - it required a crazy amount of strength, and as resourceful as my wife is, there is no way she could have installed them on her own. Just bought a set of these Peerless Auto-Tracs and I was blown away by how easy it was to install them - strength not required. In addition, they sit pretty flush to the tire on the interior side, which was a must for my vehicle in order to avoid getting in the way of the steering and braking mechanisms. The way that these fold to store in the bag is easy as well, and I do appreciate the waterproof knee mat they provide for you to kneel on during installation - which also has the instructions on it. Nice touch.I have seen comments about sizing being off on pretty much every brand/type of chain sold - seems like a part of buying tire chains is always going to be verifying the fit AHEAD OF TIME. For me, I had fit issues with the Super Z6 chains, but these Auto-Tracs fit perfectly. But I think it just depends on your vehicle and tire type. With the Auto-Tracs, I do wonder about the plastic tensioner and hook potentially breaking over time, but I'm so impressed with the ease of use that if I have to buy a new set every few years, I'll gladly take that trade off.

Better description
I already bought the 0155005 and does not fit to a tire 225/65 R17, what would be the right model?I really like the easy installation.
