Love it for frying

I used this sunflower oil to make myself some chips. It heated evenly and well, did not impart any odd flavors to my cooking, and was easy to use. It is quite a large quantity of oil, which is a positive because I can use a lot of it for frying and not feel like I am being wasteful or that I need to hoard every drop. Really a nice large jug of quality oil that can be used in a variety of ways.

This sunflower oil arrived well sealed and fresh. The bottle says "no odor" and indeed, there was none at all. This is a very neutral oil. I used it to bake a cake, and the taste and texture were great. The high smoke point of this oil and the neutral flavor profile of this oil makes it ideal for frying or baking.

There are primarily three types of sunflower oil: high oleic, mid oleic, and linoleic. I believe the best type is high oleic because it is more heart healthy and has a longer shelf life. Unfortunately, I have no idea what type of sunflower oil this one is. My only clue is that the label shows “Heart Healthy” which leaves me to believe that this is probably high oleic. It also has a two year expiration date although, once opened, it should be used up within a year.With that in mind, I find this to be a very good oil for all my daily cooking needs. It’s a light oil, with a very mild flavor. I also like that it has a high smoke point so great for frying.

This Yummmy Sunflower Oil is great for cooking. It’s has a very light flavor and doesn’t have the oily taste.
