Lightweight and I love the options!!!
These are SUPER lightweight. I think they weigh less than the same-sized ceiling tile! What I liked:* Lightweight* 3-position switch for selecting the desired brightness* 5-position switch for fine tuning the color temperature (most fixtures I've seen only offer 3 color temperatures at the most, if they offer any)* Includes hurricane clips and loops for additional security* Includes wire nuts for making the connections* The diffuser spreads the light evenly* The light is super-thin... it doesn't stick above the ceiling tile tracks. The fluorescent fixture this replaced was much, much thicker, which made it difficult to remove.* This light has plenty of 3/4" knockouts for NM-B cable clampsWhat I didn't like:* There is nothing about this light that I didn't likeOther things to note:* These are sized at 23-3/4" by 23-3/4" This makes it easier to slip it into tight ceiling tracks* These lights do not include an NM-B cable clamp. If you're replacing an old fixture, hopefully you can reuse the existing NM-B clamp, like I did. If you're installing this new, then be sure to buy some NM-B 3/4" cable clamps from your local hardware store. Do not install these lights without one, otherwise the sharp edge of the sheet metal hole may eventually slice into the cable, causing a short.* There are a few access panels on the back of this light. You only need to remove the largest one of them (shown removed in my photos).* These are dimmable, but only with a separately purchased 0-10V dimming system connected to the extra two wires in the junction box (the ends of which are pre-insulated). You CANNOT use a regular dimmer switch to dim these lights.Overall, I'm very happy with this product!!

Exactly what I needed.
As a photographer who happens to write a lot of product reviews, I have on occasion reason to photograph one product or the other. The current place I'm doing most of that is in a little photo "cube" thing that's all white and has a ring light at the top. The only problem is, it's limited for space at 18x18x18, and I often find need for a few more inches (and better light).I actually got these 2x2 LED panels to build a DIY photography "light box". Obviously, they're 6" bigger all around, and so will allow me to photograph larger objects, which is the main focus. But also the entire panel lights up, which eliminates any dark spots. I can literally surround an object with light from all sides with these panels. They also have adjustable power output (I'll probably run them on high for my purposes), as well as adjustable color temp (only 5000k and 6500k are useful to me, but the other temps are there if you need them, at the flick of a switch!).Contractors will like these for the flexibility they offer their guys in the field for matching color temps to the environment and customer needs, and will also appeal to those needing the efficiency that only an LED panel can deliver. And NuWatt (an American company, woo hoo!) warranties these for 5 years (!). And if you have problems? They actually have a phone number you can call for ACTUAL TECH SUPPORT. And get this...they didn't even bury it on their website and make it impossible to find. If you need them, you can actually reach them. Nice job, NuWatt.I might have got these panels for reasons different than most folks, but if you're looking for some sweet light panels to make a DIY light box out of...or, even if you want to do something weird with them, like put them in your ceiling...these 2x2's from NuWatt are amazing and come highly recommended.

what an upgrade from CFL
I've been working on updating the basement drop ceiling from 2x4 to 2x2 and these lights are exactly what I needed. The light is way nicer than the CFL 2x4 and also brighter. Also I can change the color temperature with a selector on the side, so I can make the basement match the lights of the rest of the house. And about safety, these are UL Listed, which means they have been tested for user safety, AKA they won't get your house on fire, which is a nice thing as being homeless isn't so nice.

Massive upgrade
Shopping on Amazon can be iffy with items like this. Fortunately Nuwatt’s claims of being a ‘proud American company’ per their box, is absolutely true. The build quality is good and the marketing and instructions are clear and concise.I was immediately impressed with the product even prior to install. I remodeled our entire basement and the ‘back room’ (laundry, storage, hvac) was sadly not getting a face lift. I knew a bit of lighting would at least make the space feel more clean and lively. I pulled a couple old fluorescent lights and popped these 4 in.The ability to adjust power draw/brightness and color temp is amazing. The ease of use and fitment are great. The one complaint I have is that I wish this were built in the same way jbox recessed lighting is with the umbilical cord. Make your connection in a separate box then simply plug in the light. The current method can be a little unwieldy having to properly secure romex to a semi permanent lighting fixture in a grid.

Grow light
I am using this 4 pack of lights to help grow my seedlings. They have the right amount of kelvins at 6500 and lumins at 4400. The cover was removed and it fits my shelf just about perfectly. The lights cover all my plants evenly and looks better than the upper shelf currently does. Takes 2 lights per shelf and I will be replacing the top shelf soon. The plants had been started before these lights arrived but they have been doing well under the new ones. I will know more about how well they work on my next round of seedlings.

Great lights
Easy to install and comes with lots of options for brightness and color.Sturdy but very lightweight.Designed for hardwire installation and tested using a wired-in cord. The lights worked perfectly and the adjustments for brightness and temperature were simple. The light was even across the entire 2x2 square. Each light was individually boxed within the larger box.I recommend these lights.
