Amd 6000 series temperature cure
I have a 6600xt and like most 6000 series amd gpus mine ran pretty hot especially on the hot spot which is on the pcb and not the die on these cards. I had tried repasting and repadding twice and no change in temps. I used this putty on the pcb and tg duronaut on the die and my temps dropped 15c on average. As for working with it I recommend gloves as it leaves behind a residue but it was easy to use and did not make a mess.

Difficult to Work with Yet Worthwile
I got tired of getting worried about buying the right size thickness of replacement pads after buying two XFX RX 7900XTX Merc310 video cards I wanted to repaste with MX-6 on the GPU die. I never trust OEMs on using premium thermal paste or pads, and I was right. One card had too little paste, the other bubble areas from pump out. Forget using the spatula for anything other than just grabbing a bit of this stuff out of the bottle, go for full coverage rubber, nylon, whatever gloves. I learned it's best to start the flattening process yourself with a single finger. Use the spatula to cut off excess, but be ready for this stuff to come apart and get stuck to your gloves when you least expect it. Cleaning the surfaces with 91% or above isopropyl alcohol helped it to stick especially on the VRAM. **One major note. Expect to use 1 full bottle of the larger size of this stuff per graphics card (GPU). Each VRAM row in my card was 8GB, so 3 full rows of VRAM for the 24GB. Add in the capacitors, ICs, other originally covered with pads and I can guarantee you it's best to have a full large bottle versus 1 small bottle per card!!** it was worth it though. The VRAM temps alone from this stuff dropped about 8C without load and almost 10C under load. Was it perfect application..probably not but who cares.

Best Value and Performance of any Putty.
Best in class performance at a better value than TG Putty Pro. The putty is easy to apply if you just use your hands (recommend using the finger covers) and apply liberally. The dry nature of the putty also helps when reapplying my thermal paste as it stays put and doesn't drip everywhere when I pull off the heatsink. 5/5 this is my new go to putty for any pad based applications because of performance and value for the amount given.

Got an old jar, but managed to get it to work.
I'm pretty sure I got an older batch. The putty was dry and somewhat brittle. As such, despite thoroughly cleaning surfaces, this stuff would just not stick. There was a lot of minor transfer onto my gloves, but I would by no means have called it "sticky". It was like...holding a piece of graphite or charcoal? That kind of transfer. Out of the jar, it was completely unusable but after working/kneading the material an insanely long time, adding a couple drops of silicone oil, and *very* careful placement, I did manage to get the putty to stay in place long enough to put my water block back on my GPU. Thermals were excellent and I would totally get putty again. Just make sure you don't get an old batch. If you experience what I did, I recommend returning it and asking for another jar.

Dried out jar
bought 2 of these and thought maybe the first one was a fluke. but 2 jars so far that are so dry they are unusable.

Works as advertised for my RX 7900 XTX Sapphire
Well it did it's job and I have no complaints about performance. Was a pain in the ass to apply since it was both too sticky but also to slimy to really mold it to shape like I was hoping. Expect to use rubbing alcohol a lot for clean up, 91% and up is recommended, and I would invest in a proper box of rubber gloves instead of the little finger ones it comes it if you want dexterity and for application to be not so messy.

i have years of experience refurbrishing cards, this product is very difficult to manage and to apply. online there are some tutorial bun honestly i don't raccomend to spread things everywhere without any minimum of diagnostic with your fingers. Be informed that 20g are not enogh to cover the VRMs and ram chips of a full card. (in my case a 3090) i raccomend to use oven paper and place a specific amount on it and roll them since u don't reach a proper thinkness of each related thermal pads you are going to replace and cut with a cutter the portion that u need (is really time consuming but the final result will be better and without messing the pcb). Spreading the putty without a control is going to cause imperfection causing high pressure spot and bending the pcb, since we don't want to destroy our card pay attention.
