Powerful, lightweight, easy to assemble/use
I was pleasantly surprised by the power of this small rototiller. It fit perfectly where I needed it to and broke up the soil, the dirt under it and mulched the roots in the garden bed from maple tree seedlings. I have posted a before/after picture with this review. It was easy to put together and easy to use. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy to use and works well
This is a great little cultivator for the price. I previously had a small gas tiller and when we sold our large home with large garden beds, we gave it away. Now, we’re in a townhome and have some smaller dedicated garden beds that we’re planting.I used this to till in some bags of compost and turn up the soil. There’s good loam and this tiller easily dug down more than 6” deep. If you hit and grab a stone the tiller will stop and chatter. You’ll need to pull out the stone but it’s pretty easy to clear.All-in-all I’m very pleased with the purchase and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Beats using a pick and shovel...
Overall, it's a pretty good value for those looking for a cultivator. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a entry level cultivator/mini rototiller.Assembly: Easy, a few screws and you are ready for action. Included instructions are clear and easy to follow. Please note the cover that goes from the handle to the motor unit may be a little difficult to put in, but with patience and finesse, it will go in despite seeming to be misaligned.Use: Pull the trigger and go baby go. Speed of the blade rotation is underwhelming, but it does the job, saving you a lot of time in prepping your soil. Please note, users with rocky soil or harder soil may have to deal with items getting stuck between the plastic body and the blade. It will make a terrible grinding sound and you have to manually clear it, as there is no reverse on the machine.Overall: Good buy, function is acceptable and despite the power issue, gets the job done at a fraction of time doing it with a shovel

Good price and sturdy tool.
Electric cultivator. I used the cultivator for weeds in my small 8' x 18' garden which was already established. It worked well and saved me from doing a lot of manual work with a hoe. I still had to do some hand work close to the plants, but it made the bulk of the weeding job easier. I would recommend .

This bad boy is very impressive, works well!
I needed a tiller. I'm old and slow. The days of digging with a shovel and wrenching a hoe in my garden are over. I still love to be out in the dirt and my flower garden and also vegetable garden.I did a lot of research. I did a lot of comparison. The unit I purchased is a beast. I've rented tillers in the past and they are monsters. They're too big. I wanted something I can get around my existing plants but I also wanted something that I could dig and move dirt to contour some of the hilly area of my flower garden. Then I also needed a tiller too to stir up and dig up last year's garden and mix in new new soil and fertilizer.Let's get real. This unit was extremely simple to put together. Large brightly colored wing nuts and simple assembly. NO MESSING AROUND ADJUSTING AND SECURING THE BLADES OR ANY OF THE DIGGING COMPONENTS. You're simply attaching the handle and getting the cord properly secured so you don't run over it. That's it.This thing digs and is quite impressive. I started out slow and within an hour or so I had it really working very well. It chewed up the clay and I was able to contour and put in a small pond. When you're operating this thing you need to be aware of roots and rocks underground. I never really forced the unit as it pulled and dug very efficiently. I cannot express how well this thing worked for an electric garden tiller. I could move through my azaleas and rhododendrons and lightly dig up the dirt but then again where I wanted to chew up the ground for new plantings this thing went down 8 in and chewed everything up.I highly recommend this unit!TODAY'S 4*11*24 AND I HAVE AN UPDATE ON MY BAD BOY TELLER. I COULD NOT BE MORE IMPRESSED AND ABSOLUTELY PLEASED WITH MY UNIT /TELLER. IT HANDLES SO EFFORTLESSLY YOU JUST HAVE TO HANG ON TO IT WHILE THE BLADE DID TO YOUR DESIRED DEPTH. I USED IT FOR A WHILE AND THEN PULLED THE PIN SO IT COULD GO FREEFORM AND DIG DEEPER. I HAVE ACTUALLY CONTOURED MY GARDEN WHICH IS VERY HILLY AND I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO LEVEL IT OUT, THIS THING WORKS BEAUTIFULLY! I DON'T RUN IT MORE THAN AN HOUR OR SO AT A TIME. I MAKE SURE THE BLADES ARE CLEAR OF PLASTIC STRINGS AND WHATEVER JUNK THEY PICK UP. YOU CAN WASH IT WITH A GARDEN HOSE BUT A BRUSH CLEANS THE BLADES QUITE NICELY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT, THIS BRAND, THIS SIZE, BECAUSE IT ALSO ALLOWS YOU TO WORK AROUND YOUR EXISTING PLANTS AND STIR UP THE DIRT. A+ PLUS PLUS PLUS PLUS

Buy this tiller. It’s great !
Love this little tiller. Super easy to put together. So easy to use. I have recently retired and my flower beds had not been properly taken care of for a few years. This little dude tore through the hard dirt like it was nothing. There were some vines wrapped around the tines but that did not slow it down a bit. It did jam with a big rock got stuck but , wedged that out and it kept working like a champ. Light weight to use for us older folks and does a great job. Just tilled in some compost a few days ago. I am very pleased with the depth this tiller. Has way more power than I expected. And it’s electric so runs quietly.
