Days of WonderDOW790024 Small World Race Collection: Cursed, Grand Dames & Royal, Multicoloured

If you're a fan of small world, but haven't bought these three expansions yet, it's a great time to jump in with this collection. I find the races and powers added in this collection to be very interesting, adding a lot of strategy and variety to the base game. They are each very powerful given the right situation: if your race can last a while, 'behemoth' will make you even stronger; going into decline with the princesses will consolidate your forces and allow you more room to conquer with your new race; goblins can be used to make short work of others' in decline races and so on. But the best part of this collection is the way it brings these expansions together. Not only is it more cost effective than buying them seperately, it much improves storage. If you were confused on the size of the containers (like me) look at the picture attached. The storage tray for all the pieces is exactly 1/3rd of the size of the box, allowing you to fit both Power Pack 1 and 2 and sky islands all in one box if you choose, putting what used to be 6 different expansions into one box! Lastly, the design quality of all the pieces is as lovely as always.

Lots of replay value in this game, so much fun. Also the fact that it has a turn limit means that you don't play until boredom - which is often the case for me with Monopoly, risk etc

A good collection of characters to add the the base game. They add some more variety but it would have been nice to see 4 cheat sheets rather than just the one
