VINCENT LONGO Lip/Cheek Gel Stain

This has a pleasant vanilla smell when you put it on. It has no taste at all. It works like a stain, but doesn't stay on forever. It is not slimy or sticky and it makes me feel put together for special occasions or just because I want a little color. I love it and I would buy it again. It stays put and the pigment is just right. I wear it alone, but I think it would be beautiful with a touch of gloss if you felt like it.

I have been using Vincent Longo Neo Aura lip and cheek gel stain for quite a few years. The stain applies well and lasts for many, many hours. Neo Aura is a fantastic color; I have never seen a comparable product, in gel or other form, in this shade, offered by anybody except Vincent Longo.I am thrilled with the product, but the shipping? Well...on a scale of 1 to 10, due to some kind of "inexplicable" (two different supervisors at the USPO could not explain either the delay or the whereabouts of this very small package) "your package was re-routed and held somewhere in Maryland" (no logical reason given, and I've never experienced any such delays when I mail packages...), this order took WAY too long to arrive. In other words, my cat could have delivered it faster and she has no postal experience whatsoever.

Ahhh I love this product so much!!!!!!! I was looking for a lip stain that would be a more brownish berry shade of red (if that makes any sense!) and this is it!! Liquid kiss is such a Georgeous color and the formulation is great. It's long lasting and it tastes sweet, not like it's made to be a cheek stain. So it doesn't taste like your eating blush if you lick your lips! The only problem I have with this is that the colors pictured are not the actual colors of the product. I suggest going to the Vincent longo website to look at the colors accurately represented. The product also came early!! I highly recommend!!!

I like this lip stain - it stays on, and it can be worn sheer or layered for a more dramatic look. I got the color Neo Aura, which I expected to be a deep, plummy red, but it is surprisingly very orange-brown, kind of like rubbing iodine on your skin. I wish the photos of this product actually showed how the color looks on a person. I will be ordering one that is more pink.

Purchased this lip/cheek stain in "My Sunshine" and it certainly does the job! Don't be intimidated by the dark brownish-red color initially, it will lighten to a richer red as you apply across your lips. Goes on very light and watery-feeling but give it a few minutes to dry and it leaves a nice long-lasting tint on your lips. Better with a moisturizing lip balm or clear gloss on top because the stain will look dry after a while when worn alone. Stayed on my lips even after fruit salad, coffee, and a BBQ lunch! I'm impressed and will purchase in more colors! Pricey but worth the $ for staying power and pretty color.

Of all the stains out there I like this brand and Benetint. Longo has so many colors but you have to search online blogs with pictures of people testing them to really get an idea of what color you are getting. This one is rather dark but just use less when you dot on. Nice flush and it lasts.

I got the Neo Aura. The color looks like a dark berry/brick color online but it's actually a brown (No reddish hues at all). It would be nice if they had a description for each color because you can't trust what you see. It looks like I smeared mud on my lip. That's not why I'm returning it. Hey, when you order a lip color online you take a big chance of getting a color that's not right for you or nothing like what you expected. I am returning it because it didn't last as promised. I put 2 layers on right before eating dinner. I made sure it had dried fully before beginning to eat. I checked my lips throughout the meal and about 1/2 way through the meal (basic chicken dinner) it was all gone, like I had put nothing on my lips at all. For the price of this stain, I expect it to last through a few bites of potatoes. Maybe I'll try to find a deep red color or something but this Neo Aura was crap.

I have used this in the past, but I'm sad to say this particular tube was not the color I expected at all. This normally has a blue-based pink undertone, but this one was a warm-based more of a red/coral color instead of pink. I'm thinking maybe the color shifted with age, but I don't know.
