This battery (DMW-BCJ13) is said to have an info chip to tell you how much power is left on it when installed in your camera, but on the packaging of the Power2000 battery I just received today in the mail it says "Important: camera will not display power levels while using this battery." Now that I have the camera I was able to install it in the new camera and it appears to show how much charge is left in the battery as one would expect. The labeling on the package appears to be the problem, not the battery itself. Now that I have tested it out, I will keep the package. I think the charger is great if it works as advertised and can be used to charge in the car as well as when traveling in Europe. Butterfly photo was great in reponding with a return label and appology for the disatisfaction on my part. I must appologize to them for my quick judgement that the battery didn't work as their ad said it would. I am now very satisified with both the product and their exemplary service.

I used this for the first time only after I was on an important scenic vacation. No part of this item worked - not the wall plug or the car charger charged, the batter that came with the unit nor did my authentic Lumix batter charge with this device.I was never able to use my good camera and instead had to resort to use my poor phone camera.Extremely disappointed in this product. I'm going to contact seller and request for my money back or a replacement.

The battery and charger both work as advertised. The battery also works with the original charger and works just like the original one does, except it has more capacity. The package also includes a screen saver which works great. I have been very satisfied with the products and will order again if I need more.

Saves money from Panasonic version, has all the features, including battery charge remaining. Extra battery is a necessity to avoid losing shots.

Does the job

I really bought this for the battery alone. This brand of battery has been a good value in many of my cameras. I like that it has the computer chip to show battery life on the LX7. The charger and screen savers are just an added bonus.

I charged the battery but forget to try it. By the time I try it, there is no power when I turn my camera on.The light is green when I put it in the battery charger. I just miss my return date by 1 week.
