Works as advertised.
My Lenovo laptop has a bad sound card and there is no sound from the in-built speakers or the 3.5mm audio port. I have old Sony headphones with a 3.5mm audio male connector and I didn’t want to spend money on a new one with a USB connector. I am able to use my old headphones and get sound with this adapter connected to the USB port of the laptop.

Sounds quality is amazing
Simple design with amazing sound quality directly connected to Samsung s22 ultra. Only issue is what it gains over my other sound cards in speaker quality it loses in microphone connection quality. I can hear every foot step when gaming but my team makltes say that my voice goes in and out with this sound card. Maybe just a short in the one I got, maybe not. But I still use it often because of the sound quality.I use this paired with sound panda spa 3 driver ear buds and even in music I can hear instruments in it I didn't even know had been in the song. Amazing combo. Just needs better mic connection. Test with sound panda, razor xn, and turtle Beach battle buds.

Needs more robust electronics to last longer
This works for video games, teams, zoom etc. and is a decent product. The lower star rating is because they don't last long. The first one stopped working after 2 months where the mic function simply gave up and did not work at all regardless of restarting the PC, re-plugging in or anything else i tried. The second one worked for almost 6 months before the other side complained it sounded like i was in a box. This could usually be fixed by unplugging the device in and then plugging it back in. Over time i had to do this almost hourly in gaming sessions. Today it started losing the mic along with the "box" effect.

Great USB audio so far.
Works with my KVM's that have a switchable USB port. Nice to have this, if you have a KVM. I really like the dual package and the fact that they are short, easy to switch from desktop speakers to headphones that have a MIC. My PC's auto connected to the USB audio I/O, and I got sound, with no drivers to install. Haven't had success yet with my Linux OS's.My bad for waiting as long as I have to get audio on both PC's vs buying two speaker systems.

Cheap in every sense of the word.
Good Points - Cheap (As in inexpensive). Bad points - Cheap (as in components used). Experienced choppy sound quality and clear signs of stuttering. Keep in mind that these adapter cables are not just cables. USB does NOT put out analog sound. IT's output is digital. Therefore the cable has to include a DAC (Digital to Analog) conversion ship internal to the connector to convert the USB Digital output to Analog for your headphones/external speakers. And the quality of that DAC will dictate your output sound quality. Now exactly how good a DAC do you think is going to be in a connector being sold for all of $5.00? Yup. It seems from reading other reviews like I'm in the minority on this, but frankly I am thoroughly unimpressed. Would not recommend to anyone I cared about.
