Been looking for awhile now a rechargeable TENS machine. This one hit all my requirements. It had a charge cable with it portable and discreet for its size Relieves pain after a few session. Rechargeable so it is so convinient unlike others. I just wish it had more sticky pads available as it will loose its stickiness.great value!

The Padonco Tens Machine for pain relief is a good portable design, so you can use it on the go.After reading the instructions, and re-reading them a number of times before using the machine, I thought it would be very easy to set my options. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I could easily switch to the part of the body in the display, but it wasn’t very clear if my option had been selected as I then tried to move on to select the MODE. The machine would benefit from having a select button, to make operating the options easier. I think I stumbled on my options by chance after persevering. I used the machine for the first time on setting 2, this felt a comfortable level for first time use.I’ve used a number of different TENS machines in the past, so I have a good idea where to place the electrode pads, but if you are new to using this there are no guides or images in the instructions of where best to place the pads. The machine works well and its a neat light design, it just needs precise and more detailed instructions.

I got this machine originally to replace my ageing (15+ year old) machine.On unboxing, I was impressed by a couple of things:* Rechargeable - my old unit used a PP9 square battery, which are expensive!* Compact and lightweight - my old unit was quite bulky and heavyWhilst charging the battery, I looked at the instructions, and was totally confused. I instead decided to plug it in and go head-to-head with my old unit.The first thing I noticed was the lack of control: On my old unit, I could choose mode (pulse type), frequency (pulse rate), Intensity, and pulse width. On this unit, it seems most of these have been combined already into presets - and as much as I tried, I could not replicate my usual usage settings. Very disappointing.Next: There's no carry case, not even a pouch, to keep the device in. This is really something of an expectation these days with anything that has 'peripherals' such as the leads and charge cable.The next big disappointment was reliability... the machine seems to just randomly turn off. I checked the battery charge, and also the timers, and still think this might just be a fault. It's quite sporadic, and not easy to replicate, so I am guessing it's just one of those things. The unit's lightweight design has a benefit, but I fear it is also of lesser quality than my 15 year old unit.The final thing that I was a little disappointed with is the pads/ leads: My old TENS machine's leads and pads have been replaced many times, and obtaining them has been easy, either via local chemist or online. This new machine seems to have much different connectors, so none of my existing pads or leads are useful (and I have a wide array, including a clip-type Vagus pad).I am sure the product will be fine for most, but I guess I'm just spoiled by the control, quality, and flexibility of my old unit.Therefore, to be fair, I'm still scoring this a respectable 2 stars.

This little portable Tens machine is a great option to aid recovery with minor muscle tenderness and strains. What I would say is its worth taking the time, as I did to fully read the instruction manual to make sure it suits your needs. I suffer from lower back pain, so this is the area I have been using the unit on. The unit itself is very light weight and portable and can be used while on the go. The large dials and LCD screen means its easy to cycle through to the desired mode required. On the LCD screen each area is nicely section off so you now what settings to program. You have a timer section from 5 minutes to 90 minutes. There are four pads included for different areas on the body, I have just been using two pads on my lower back for 10 minutes with an intensity level 5 which has been strong enough without to much discomfort. There are two mode settings as well TENS is for temporary pain relief and EMS is to stimulate healthy muscles for performance. I remember years ago when I was a teenager very much into sports and martial arts spending a lot of money on private treatment when technology like this was in its infancy with my lower back and now at this price point its so accessible for most of us and well worth the investment.

I suffer with a sore lower and upper back and this Tens machine definitely helps to give me drug free pain relief. The first time I used it, I took a little while to find the right level of intensity, but once I got the levels right, I was able to wear the device whilst watching TV. I found that sessions of 15-20 minutes worked best for me, and the pads supplied appear to adhere well to the skin.
