Happy with the wipers so far. Dropped a star for the quite ridiculous length of time it took for them to be shipped- had me wondering what century I am in! The wipers themselves fit great and have reduced noise considerably, while being as effective if not better than the premium Bosch ones I’ve always used - these were recommended on VW forums after I read that the shape of new Polo windscreens made Bosch Aeros a poor choice due to reduced effectiveness/performance vs inexplicably high price. These Valeo wipers are much better value with great performance. They were very easy to fit compared to others I’ve tried and, for my partner who is not a confident driver, the eradication of wiper screech has reduced stress levels significantly when driving in horrible wet and dark Scottish conditions at rush hour. Before buying these, if I was driving her Polo with the old Bosch wipers on, I’d find myself turning the wipers off subconsciously, even if it was raining heavily, as I couldn’t stand the noise, which new Polos are apparently known for. It’s sometimes simple things that can make life easier and silent windscreen wipers is one of those things. It really isn’t worth the economy of budget wipers… I’d recommend these as the most effective you can buy and for a price that’s not as bad as other, less effective premium brands. But be prepared to wait what feels like an age to receive them.

Lots better than manufacturers wipers

Having suffered the extreme scraping and shuddering of the manufacturer's wiper blades on our new car for over a year we gave up and replaced them with the Valeo Silencio blades. We had used these before on a previous car to replace worn blades. I had forgotten just how good these blades are. No more heart attacks for passengers when switching on the wipers. In fact if any passenger had their eyes shut they would not even know the wipers were switched on. Totally silent. They may not last as long if the rubber is softer although the last pair lasted well. Very easy to fit and highly recommended.

Valeo Wiper Blades are an excellent choice as are Bosch. Once ordered unknown brand in error - big mistake.

Lasted less than 3 months before they started making streaks across the window screen, need to buy more and will be paying another £10 more for Bosch!

Exactly the same as y last wipers-original spec: as Skoda new cars

We had factory fitted wipers on our Polo which were really noisy and useless. These are brilliant!
