3157 LED white bulbs 54 SMD ultra bright 2pc

I just got these in was very easy to install literally took 5 min. when i had first ordered these i expected them to be white and bright. first thing i noticed is its very white that i like but as far as brightness goes i would say its about the same as the stock 4114 bulb. im able to see the led bulb during the day and i know its during the day i just expected brightness if i would have gotten that then it would have been 5 stars..

Very Bright when you turn them on in reverse. Downside if it is cold out these bulbs were not as bright for 25-30 seconds. Well how long do you stay in reverse? If you live in an area above freezing most of the year. I would say its a great addition to the vehicle while maintaining a stock appearance to the taillights and actually a reduction in current demand to that circuit.

they work but a couple of the lights were out. had to install resistors to stop the hyperflash but very easy. installed on 2010 f250

They aren't really long enough to fit in a 03' Focus Wagon. But, with a "special modification" they seem to be just fine and bright. My car was blowing every standard lamp after a few presses of the breaks... these LEDs can handle the extra surge that, for whatever reason, my car is sending out.

It appears these bulbs are polarity sensitive. I plugged one in, and soon I could smell the unmistakable odor of electronics burning. The lamp wasn't lit, and it developed a 'melt' spot before I could turn off the power. One down....I put the other bulb in and must have gotten lucky (50-50 chance) because it actually lit. The light level appears plenty bright when I look right at it, but it is noticeably dimmer when installed than the incandescent bulbs. It made the tail light look more orange then red. For an experiment I turned the bulb over, reinserted and could smell the burn again. Needless to say, I removed power before the bulb failed. It would have been nice for some instructions on this, but there was no literature in the package.I wanted these to work as I liked the idea of using LED's, but I took the LED out and put an incandescent back in because of the view-ability factor.

worked great for 3 years. Desert heat got to them and the led's started falling off of the contraption

didn't work for the car it claimed it would work for - if you know more about this sort of thing I'm sure you will have better luck.

The lights work perfect, i was not expecting them not to be as bright as the old ones. I wonted to increase brightness not lower it
