This is a great advent calendar, that makes a very nice alternative (or even addition perhaps) to a standard chocolate type advent calendar. The calendar itself is about as tall as an A4 sheet of paper but wider and has tearable folds surrounding each date in December up to the 24th.Behind each one is a little gift most with an advent theme. They are really nice little gifts, that are of the form you may expect in many cases in a high end cracker.As you can see from the pictures and as you would expect this matches the contents shown in the product photos. To actual contents are on a thin plastic tray . You can access these contents by removing a small taped strip on the top or the bottom of the container.This does mean that you can replace or add to the contents of the calendar with your own special gifts which actually is something I really like, especially for the last few days of the calendar as that would be quiet a surprise. In our house that also means we applied some glue at the top and the bottom of each side, so that kids do not take the same approach.The cardboard and tray are flimsy but the focus is on the contents of the calendar and I can appreciate that. Overall, this is a really nice advent calendar.

Not at all impressed. This was advertised as a fidget toy advent calendar. The stuff was cheap and nasty. The most part of the gifts were rubbish. They included, keyrings, pin badges, wooden clothes pegs, little wobble things and none of them were any good. Lots of the items repeated ie; 4 x pin badges and 3 x keyring. I wouldn't bother buying it, it's a rip off and definitely not fidget toys

Too many duplicate items - 3 of the same wobble! Not enough toys to actually play/fiddle with that are engaging. Products cheaply made. My daughter lost all enthusiasm for opening the doors each night. I realise I should’ve paid more attention to the product description and other reviews before purchasing.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great calendar if you have children who like little gadety fidget type toys, mainly with a festive theme.It's a large box style that opens up like a book into two halves to display the windows for the Christmas countdown. Each numbered window has the perforated tabs, so this would really only be a one-off use for the box, and behind the tabs are the Christmas toys that form the set.The toys are quite good on the whole, many are Christmas versions, some are fidget, others just stocking filler types, and they're bound to be appealing to youngsters - particularly compared to standard advents that may just have a small chocolate in. Some similar styles on repeat though, which I wouldn't expect, and this does mean I haven't gone for a full 5 stars because of this.You can see from the video though that there's a little room in each section (which you can access from the sticky tabs at the bottom of the calendar), should you wish to amend the contents to add in a sweet or change the items if you think they aren't suitable. This can be done without spoiling the perforated windows so it's a good option to customise this further if you'd like to.A pretty good item on the whole and although the cost is more than a standard chocolate calendar, it's something special that will give them some good memories from the little gifts inside so it's certainly worth any additional expense (in my opinion that is, although perhaps not every year). Value wise it's on par with some of the other larger/specialised advent calendars and I know my own children would love this at Christmas time so I'd be happy to recommend it.

My friend ordered a fidget calender for her son which is rhe same packaging as this but it has achaul fidget stuff this one is rubbish I'm really disappointed I payed quite a bit for this to have badges this isn't a fidget calender you should take this down I have a very sad child

This 'fidget' advent calendar is ok but not s good as others I have had at a similar price range. I'd say its about half fidget type toys and half tat - pegs, wind up toys etc. I think it would be suitable for children in the infants age 4-7. Definitely not suitable for toddlers as the toys are rather cheaply made.I think by Christmas day they will be fed up with the repetitiveness of the toys.
