It works good but for what it costs I think olive oil would do the just fine

This is top notch seasoning. However, I received it 1 week from the day that it was supposed to arrived. The box that it was in had a dark stain on it. I opened the box and it had leaked, the cover on the container was open so I lost a good portion out of the container. I had to send it back to get a new one which I couldn't wait another 3 weeks before seasoning my new griddle. So even after showing them the pics of the box and the container with missing a good portion of the seasoning, they decided to refund me 9.00 out of the 45.00. Hence why the 2 star.
